While the left would like you to believe that there have been mass restaurant closures and that the hospitality industry is on the verge of collapse because Trump is supposedly deporting everyone and their grandmothers, I have yet to see any real evidence of this. I’ve also noticed no shortage of produce at the grocery store. That’s what makes it so disingenuous when people like Don Lemon try to convince the public that farmers are in despair due to a lack of workers supposedly deported by Trump. Not only is this untrue, but it also shows how little the left seems to care about providing jobs for Americans over foreign nationals.

Lemon was out doing his usual thing, which is gaslighting random strangers on the street. This time, like many other times, it didn’t work. One man explained why he supports mass deportations, and when Lemon tried to tell him there’s a rotting produce epidemic, the man knew that was nothing more than a lie.

He even went so far as to claim that Trump deserved four more years for these efforts alone—because it’s about time someone in office actually tried to put the American people first. The left has, for far too long, fought tooth and nail to keep our borders open and to slap law-abiding immigrants in the face. Not anymore. The people have spoken, and they’re sick of it. The sooner people like Lemon realize that, the better off everyone will be.

I also don’t think there’s anything more racist than a leftist fighting to keep undocumented workers underpaid and overworked. Because I know, you know, and even your grandma knows that there are plenty of Americans who would gladly take those jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. So not only is it disingenuous to claim that only foreign nationals would work such jobs, but it’s also reprehensible to fight to keep these jobs away from Americans. And I don’t know about you, but I’d say that any industry that can only survive on extremely low wages and an illegal workforce doesn’t really deserve to exist. But that’s just my two cents. I’m no economist, so you do the math.

Nonetheless, as the man said, there are “tons of people in [his] projects” who would line up for these jobs, and there’s nothing more disgraceful for the left than to claim otherwise. So even if the hospitality industry were on the verge of collapse, which it’s not, that would still be a moot point, as these are targeted deportations reserved for the least desirable members of society. The left can end their lies now, but Lemon has proved he only intends to double down, which shows what side he’s really on, and it certainly isn’t standing with the American people.
