Just when we think we've seen everything, the left wows us with yet another feat of sheer hypocrisy. Take this case for example. Somebody was questioning a Democrat Congressman about what to do if Trump became a full-blown dictator. His solution: go Second Amendment on the Donald's apricot-hued posterior.

I kid you not.

A New York Democratic congressman is being accused of promoting violence against President Trump after suggesting during a town hall that citizens may have to take up arms against the president if he doesn’t follow the law.

“I mean, this is where the Second Amendment comes in quite frankly, because you know, what if the president was to ignore the courts? What would you do? What would we do?” Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y., said during a March 12 Q&A session with constituents in Huntington, on Long Island.

“It’s really a matter of putting public pressure on the president,” he said.

Well, I never expected to hear that one.

The congressman isn't wrong about the Second Amendment. At least in this hypothetical scenario. Its main purpose is to protect us against a tyrannical government. I'm just used to seeing Democrats claim the right to bear arms is in need of rewrites. Not to mention, they're the side who's adamant about ballooning the government like Michael Moore after a binge at Arby's. Also taxing the bejeezus out of anyone who makes a buck. Whittling individual rights down to nothing. You get the drift.

It's funny how leftists are all about Democracy, right up until they lose. Once the chips are down in Leftyville, anything goes. Including violating their own principles to force the orange man out of a job. I've gotta warn them though, it's going to be tough to oust Trump when all they have is flintlock rifles and blunderbusses. After all, according to the left, those are the only Constitution-friendly weapons for civilians to pack.

If Trump were banning Americans from criticizing him, installing bugs and surveillance cameras in our casas, and forcing us to convert to the Church of MAGA, taking up arms wouldn't be such a bad idea. There's just one problem. The only place that nightmare scenario exists is inside leftists' pea brains.

I liked the left better when guns weren't their thing.
