You are evil. Yes, this is directed toward both the doctors performing the horrific procedures, and the women making the heinous, murderous decision allowing them to do so. Yeah, Yeah I know. I can already hear the #SJW feminists foaming at the mouth. I can also hear all of their complicit, wimpy Christian allies demanding the need for “compassion” and understanding.
You deserve neither.
Everyone deserves forgiveness, absolutely. But your ending of a baby’s life deserves no compassion. Inhumane acts merit no human “understanding.” We all tip-toe around this. Why? Why, when the issues that modern leftists seem willing to tackle head on, are quite trivial by comparison?
See you’re likely reading this column because to some varying degree, it’s shocking. After all, who am I to call anyone “evil”? That’s a pretty damn strong statement. What makes me so sure? What gives me the right?
Well, let me take a stab at it (pun not intended). We use the word “evil” so often, it’s lost all meaning. Take Obama’s colleagues at the poverty summit this week, who accused Conservatives of practicing “evil”. How so? By cutting funding to extracurricular activities like band, and chess club. I know, I know. Individual states might actually have to pay for their own unused percussion instruments and obos? What are we, animals?
One needs only take a passing glance at Twitter to observe literally thousands of leftists calling Darren Wilson evil. Their justification? Darren Wilson shot Mike Brown… in what was ruled to be self-defense. Ah yes. There’s a special place in hell reserved for people like him.
So then why, I ask again, should it be any more shocking for me to place the moniker of “evil” squarely on the shoulders of women who “choose” to have scissors jammed into their babies head and ultimately see it sucked down a tube?
Listen, there was a time in this country where I believed that you abortionists truly thought you were arguing the point of “where life beings.” But as the science is increasingly revealed, I become more convinced that you know where life begins… you’d just rather have the right to kill a baby anyway.
Well known atheist, Christopher Hitchens, acknowledged that abortion was the equivalent of murder. Even Richard Dawkins did so (albeit unknowingly). If you look at leftist enclaves in Europe or even Canada who find themselves further along the progressive trail, feminist-warriors have nearly always, without exception, pushed for abortion up until well into the third trimester. This is well beyond the point of scientific debate as to whether the baby is significantly developed, can feel pain or in some cases, even survive outside of the womb.
To abortionists, it matters not. I call that evil.
Liberal politicians always use the “Well, of course abortion is bad, but” line of argument when addressing the issue. But they don’t believe it for a second. It’s why they champion that today, 1 in 3 women have an abortion in their lifetime. They’ve created a campaign around it. I don’t know exactly why. Perhaps it makes abortionists feel less lonely when dealing with their more than likely depression and/or psychological disorders later in life. But I’m sure that this statistically observable data will be chalked up to nothing more than guilt resulting from false societal constructs of morality. Cue the social justice warrior alarm!
Yes, we live in a world where it is seen as more callous to state the observable ramifications of performing a murder… than it is to perform the act of murder. We find ourselves in a time where it is seen as more sexist to condemn the act of sex-selective abortion… than it is to perform sex-selective abortion. We find ourselves in a time where it is more offensive to demand the defunding of Planned Parenthood, than Planned Parenthood’s repeated harvesting and selling of baby organs.
I’m supposed to tip-toe around this, because it’s considered offensive to do otherwise. Particularly to the women reading this who may be thinking about having an abortion, or have already had one.
That’s the point where we ultimately end up. I’m not supposed to call you evil, because it hurts your feelings.
That’s not enough. To you I say, consider your “offense” merely a product of “societal construct,” as it’s certainly much more imaginary than the life you aim to take. If I offend people willing to take innocent life, good. I have plenty of friends, I could use a few enemies. That means you.

There are very few, only 5 I believe, physicians in the entire US who perform “late-term abortions.” The majority of abortions performed in this country happen within the first 9 weeks. These abortions, in no way whatsoever, are performed with “scissors” to the brain. Inaccuracies abound in this article. You think the welfare and food stamps situation in this country is over-taxed now? Yes, let’s add scores of unwanted children to the welfare rolls. Let’s have women carry the products of their rape/incest for 9 months and either have to state at that reminder for 18 years, or have to make the heart-wrenching decision to put the child up for adoption, and live with the heartache of that for the rest of their lives, and someday have to look at that child again when they come knocking to find their birth mother and ask who their daddy is. Let’s force women to give birth to babies with horrible defects and diseases that are either incompatible with life or offer constant pain or low quality of life. Defects and diseases that are not only insufferable, but also cost millions of dollars to treat that no family can afford, even with health insurance, or that will need to be paid through Medicaid/Medicare. Let’s force women who are in abusive relationships to bring a child into a dangerous family dynamic so the child can one day be abused as well, or who will eventually wind up in our countries overwhelmed, overburdened and, many times, just as dangerous foster care system. Children who will one day possibly become abusers themselves. Let’s force women to give birth to a child they don’t want, and will resent for the rest of their life. We all know how many unloved children turn out. Let’s force those suffering from addiction to have a child who will be born addicted, and will possibly have lifelong medical issues. Let’s force the mom who already has 6 kids and is already exhausted to have no choice but to add a new child to the brood, one she has no time or attention left for.
Women are going to abort their pregnancies, whether legal or not. So let’s just take away a medically safe option and have women go back to illegal, unsterile chop shops, or to using wire hangers in their bathrooms, or take black market abortifacient pills with unknown ingredients and effects, or taking herbs that can not only cause miscarriage but can also cause dangerous side effects.
Let’s just quadruple the population of out country, which will drain resources, and create generations of unwanted kids who are more likely to become criminals, addicts, rapists, pedophiles, abusers, murderers, victims, high school dropouts, teenage parents, foster kids, on welfare, in a gang, institutionalized, in jail, or homeless. Kids who are more at risk to be victims of bullies, be bullies themselves, have learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD, depression, bipolar, schizophrenic, psychopathic, sociopathic.
Abortion is not evil. Taking away the option, and what that will create, however, IS.

I was seriously deciding which anti abortion organization to contribute to, but after reading how evil you all think I am, that I should be executed for murder and all the other name calling, I will donate elsewhere. Not one of you has walked in my shoes, so judging women so harshly is pathetic. MLH. As a woman I find your reply revolting. A baby is a baby even at nine weeks who are you or I to decide he or she should be discarded. I also have three children. My first child has birth defects. I wouldn’t trade his life for the all the money or jobs in the world. I also was in abusive marriage during my first marriage with an alcoholic. I got pregnant shortly after with my second child who was exactly 13 months younger from my first child. Guess what even though it was hard and “inconvenient” I got through it. Got out of that relationship became a single mom and took care of my babies. Now I have my third baby who is my youngest. I got married again and had this baby. It may be hard for a single mom but those of us who love our kids push on and work hard to provide our babies with the moon and the stars if need be. And what makes your life or my life more valuable than a baby or a “poor child”. What makes you able to dictate that children on welfare shouldn’t be born? If someone doesn’t want a child hr or she can be put up for adoption and given a better life. Abortion benefits one person and ends another one’s life before they even breath their first breath. Interesting. So, let’s a take a look at your argument: you say that abortion isn’t evil because it can help prevent many future problems in life for children and/or parents. What is evil, though, is preventing doctors and mothers from murdering babies; because, those babies may have problems in life. How dare people say that killing babies is bad when it saves them from being raised by bad parents, getting bullied, making their parent’s lives harder, being adopted, possibly having medical issues, or worse: quadrupling the population if our country?! Surely killing the most innocent of people is okay under those circumstances. Think about it; they could get ADD if we let them live! MLH, murdering babies is not okay, and, yes, it is indeed evil. Speaking out against it and trying to stop it, on the other hand, is not.

The correct term is EXECUTION. These mothers (so-called) are executioners.
We care more for painless executions of prisoners on death row than the painful executions of innocent babies in the womb. Executions that take place in the womb are painful and horrible and the victim is completely innocent. Sinless. But killed in the most inhumane way. Limbs ripped off. Scissors in the back of the skull. Try executing someone (who had been found guilty of a heinous crime, by the way) on death row using the same methods without any anesthetic and watch the abortionist and liberals squawk!
So the child is summarily executed, at the direction of it’s mother, because of things that may occur in his/her life. No chance to even prove himself/herself. No chance at life. Nope, it may not turn out well for the child so, EXECUTE HIM! What kind of human being would execute an innocent baby anyway? You forgot to explain how someone who is raped on the victim of incest need 9 months to figure out they’ve been raped or the victim of incest. You do know that the number of abortions performed on these situations is small compared to the “inconvenient” abortions. I had a friend who’s sister had 9 abortions by the time she was in her mid 20’s, she used it as a form or birth control; which by the way there are 1700 different forms of birth control.
Please read Roe v Wade, it was before medical science could actually produce a picture of a living fetus (baby) which was actually brought up during the hearing – what would happen when it could be determined that this so-called “clump” of cell was actually a baby. There is also no telling the minds these children would have had and the chance that there was a future doctor among them that could have cured a type of cancer or discovered a new way to power cars to stop using fossil fuels. There’s no telling the potential of all these lives the world over that have been snuffed out before they had a chance to live their lives and contribute to the world in the unique way they could have. The artists, musicians, inventors, peacemakers, athletes, scientists or soldiers that could have been! How they could have contributed! And what of their children, grandchildren, and so on. I can understand years ago when we didn’t know and thought it was just cells deciding. Birth out of wedlock is no longer stigmatized so why not have the baby and put him or her up for adoption. There are tons of people out there looking to adopt babies. You have birth control. I agree. Abortion is murder, plain and simple. I ended up with one though. I had an iud and got pregnant when my son was just 5 months. I went to a clinic because my high risk specialist didn’t think my body could take any more punishment. I was sobbing when they called me in. The Dr said I didn’t look like I wanted to be there. I said of course not, but didn’t know what to do. The Dr said let’s do an exam to see where you’re at, then make a decision. The iud had to come out as out compromised my cervix. He said he’d remove the iud and see what happened. Maybe I wouldn’t have to abort. So he did and for a few minutes I had hope that I could keep this little life. Then I started hemorrhaging and lost her. I still feel guilty for even considering killing my baby. It was wrong then and it’s still wrong. The Dr was very kind and understanding. And the choice was taken from me. If I hadn’t had the iud I would have tried to keep her, even though I would have 3 kids under 2 years old. Stepping into that clinic was the single most devastating moment in my life. It’s not always a choice, but when it is a choice, then choose life. That trumps inconvenience and difficulty any day.

But it’s ok for you to condemn religious people. I’m not religious, but I know abortion has gotten way out of hand. Abortions should be done as soon as possible. The spinal column develops right away and is part of the central nervous system – which means at some point the baby feels pain. It is at this point that abortions should be illegal. That is evil.

If you become pregnant and don’t have the resources to take care of the child, there’s always adoption.

I agree that there is a lack of compassion shown from some of these replies. You are not evil or despicable, but what you did was a very serious sin. It was murder in the eyes of God. I am guilty of the same sin.
But what is amazing is that God forgives our sins when we repent….confess our sins to Him, humbly ask for forgiveness, and ask for His help not to sin again. God knows your situation and the stress you were facing. This doesn’t mean He accepts sin, but He understands sin and forgives if we repent and turn from it.

My late wife had ovarian cancer. When she was first diagnosed, we thought she was pregnant in the first weeks. The doctor did an emergency radical hysterectomy before we even could confirm whether or not she was pregnant. Both of our wishes was to attempt to carry the baby to term or to a point where the baby could be delivered through C-section. We understood the ramifications of that decision. My wife passed away never knowing if she was pregnant or not. I talked to the Doctor and he said she was. The Doctor took the decision out of our hands. Soon, like in China, the decision to have life instead of an abortion might be taken out of everybody’s hands. That’s what the abortionists really want. They want to dictate whether or not you can have a child. Just wait. It’s coming faster than you think. Maybe even as close to Hillary becoming President.

Choosing abortion over adoption is a selfish act. It’s not about the child. It’s about the parents not being able to deal with a child who may never seek them out, who if they do seek them out – what would they say and of course about the shame of an unintended pregnancy. I have to admit that I had an abortion when I was 18 years old. My husband whom was 38 years old did not give me any other option. I regret it every day and I’m very sorry for going through with it. I had an abortion in 1972 (legal in DC before Roe v. Wade). It was the right decision then. With over 40 years’ hindsight, in review it still stands as a right decision. I did not “murder” a baby, I aborted a zygote. It did not have a soul yet by my spiritual beliefs. BTW, had I carried that baby, I would have had zero prenatal care because I couldn’t afford it, and would have wound up on the street homeless with my three year old son. You imaginary “pro-lifers” do not believe in dealing with the consequences of your campaigns.

To those who say that the unborn child shouldn’t be punished for their parents’ mistake, your born child is already being punished for many of your mistakes now. To judge someone else as if all things between you and them are the same is wrong. The process of having or not having a child has always been a selfish one. No one brings a child into this world because it’s the “right” thing to do, it’s done because of a selfish want/need. How hard is it to live your own life and not stare into your neighbors bedroom? PP refuses to allow ultrasounds, except to harvest baby organs [isn’t it funny that it’s just undeveloped tissue if you only abort, but human organs if they can sell the parts]. These PP employees are akin to any serial killer; they just kill with a license. Feminists have lost all sense of morals, self respect, personal integrity and forethought. I just got an abortion on Sunday, I took the pills. I found out I was pregnant while I was on the IUD, I was on that IUD for 6 years and only found out a few weeks ago. If I got pregnant by accident after my birth control failing I definitely will have an abortion as Im not financially stable to raise another child. But saying this don’t mean it wouldnt be upsetting. Of course I would be upset but I wouldn’t ever bring a child into this world to only live on struggles or to live without common necessities.

I was one of those people. I had 2 when I was younger. I feel so terrible now. I ask for forgiveness nearly every day. I have no idea if I’m forgiven or not, either way I know I will have consequences. I also now know what I missed out on, 2 beautiful kids, gifts. I was thrown out of my house at 16 because of “religion” My mom was a jehovah witness & nuts. I literally lived on the streets of Detroit for some time. I ate once every other day for a while. I was looking for someone, ANYONE to love me. The people who pretended to love me were terrible people. No one cared about me. I was angry, I hated everyone, myself, God, my mom, everybody. After many MANY years of struggle, trouble, resentment, self hatred and so on I have a great life now. I try to honor God with the things I do. I’d like to think this is a sign that maybe I’ve been forgiven but I don’t know for sure. I think that sometimes there are cases where people honestly don’t fully know, everyone around a person tells them, “it’s fine” “it’s no big deal” “you have to” and the person may have so many life struggles just staying alive that it all makes sense at the time. The people who celebrate this horrible act are gross and disgusting. They are the epitome of evil, but I would be careful just judging everyone until you’ve walked in their shoes.

This is a tough issue. I no way defend abortion because I have the luxury of hindsight and understand the emotional and mental ramifications caused by abortions. Before I was a born again Christian I looked at the world as someone who was selfish and self-absorbed and caught up in a society which was largely the same. I deserved to be judged for my decision and I am sure that I will be called to account for it. Jesus died on a cross to take all the sins of humanity on his shoulders to be forgiven so that we humans have a path to eternal life. Prior to his resurrection the only way you could get to heaven is live a sinless life, build tabernacles, sacrifice animals and so forth. After Jesus rose from the dead we were given a new covenant with God called the good news which operates on “Grace” instead of the old testament covenant of law and good works. Grace covers our human shortcomings and mistakes and gives us the only chance of getting to heaven. Jesus bridged a gap that was unavailable to us before he was crucified on that cross. Let’s speak the truth with love and not condemnation. It is easy to get emotionally angry and project that hate onto others. Abortion is wrong, but it will be forgiven like all other sin through repentance. God wants a relationship with us and he uses Jesus and the Holy Spirit to achieve that. If you have accepted Jesus in your heart and believe he died on the cross and paid the price through his crucifixion for every sin you will ever commit in the past, present or future, then you have been born again and you are a new creation with a new heart and all of your past sin has been forgiven. Grace will now cover you for the rest of this life and into the next. Amen.
I am a staunch ProLifer and believe in the sanctity of life at ALL stages. Saying that, at 19 I found myself pregnant while in a treatment center for meth addiction. I was convinced by my counselor that an abortion was the only solution. It wreaked havoc on my soul and only in the past 5 years have I begun to heal (I’m 45). I’m sure I will be castigated mercilessly for posting this, but I am NOT evil. I have been lost, terrified, weak, and wholly disconnected from God; but never evil. The loss of every child through abortion is murder and heinous; but not necessarily the act of an evil mother. Christ preached LOVE and COMPASSION between human beings and to feel yourself above his teachings is wrong. Whether you’re a scared 19 year old child or an adult political pundit.
The funny thing about so many of your “Christian” reactions is that they show no compassion, no understanding, and most importantly, no ability to change the hearts and minds of people who are struggling with such a decision. And by funny I don’t mean “haha” funny, although some of your responses are so ridiculous that they are indeed laughable. Please get off the internet, learn about people suffering in the real world, and find real-life ways to help prevent abortions if you are pro-life. Sitting here telling people that they are evil, that they should be sterilized or that they should keep their legs closed is gonna make them run the other way from any advice you have to give. And stop criticizing other people and taking such offense for giving you an opposing viewpoint that most people have. Maybe if you understand it it will get you somewhere. If you actually want to change things and not just decide who you think should go to hell. A decision God has NEVER granted to anyone.
