Dave Chappelle Actually Comes to Kanye's Defense Over Trump
Everyone is back to straight trippin' over Kanye West (Top 5 Leftist Meltdowns Over Kanye West's White House Visit and CNN Panel Mocks Kanye West for Supporting Trump with Racial Joke). Not that Ye's visit wasn't... honestly, beyond words. It was pure dragon energy. Shoot it into your veins like heroin. Become a donut hole, and yourself in it like it's powdered sugar.
But enough about dragon energy. A celebrity had nice things to say about Trump. That means other celebrities have to make statements attacking the celebrity who said nice things about Trump. Except for Dave Chappelle. Just because, he's Dave Chappelle and he does what he wants.
First of all, you know, Kanye's the artist, man. I think the angle he's seeing things from is about the division that he sees. And -- and he's not inconsistent with what he's saying.I'm not mad at Kanye. That's my brother -- I love him, I support him. But, you know, I don't have to agree with everything that he says ... I just trust him as a person of intent.
"I trust him as a person of intent."
Those are eight words everyone should keep in the back of their minds. People go ballistic over anyone who has the slightest disagreement with them about anything. Like when Taylor Swift endorses a Democrat. Or when Jordan Peterson express an opinion about Brett Kavanaugh. I'm looking at a lot of you reading this right now.
Chappelle even makes it clear in the video he disagrees with everything Kanye said about Trump. He's also saying it's okay to disagree in the first place without writing a person out of your life. That's a message I think everyone needs to hear.
Don't write someone out of your life over a difference of, often, just one opinion. Everyone needs to take a mocha chill. Even many of you who consider yourselves conservative. Just saying.
