Dan Crenshaw Questions Democrats' Claims About Trump Violating First Amendment
So far, Dan Crenshaw has been a stand-up kind of a guy. Few people could have handled the mockery he endured at the hands of SNL with such class. Seeing as he's about to take his seat in the House in January, Face the Press had Crenshaw and other incoming congressmen come in for a roundtable discussion.
Naturally, the Democrats on the panel were running wild with "Orange Man bad" claims. Danny boy was having none of it:

Neguse: I think some of our democratic freedoms and the principles that we live by have been under attack for the better part of the last two years.
Crenshaw: Well, I always ask the question "like what?" You know, like what is he undermining exactly? What democratic freedoms have been undermined? We just had an election where we switched power in the House. Democracy is at work. People are voting in record numbers.
Houlahan: I mean the undermining of the free press...
Crenshaw: How has he done that? Obama had many press members under investigation. Trump has not. So, what's the difference here?
Well, that was absolute perfection. God bless Dan Crenshaw for his unparalleled badassery.
He asks a good question. Where is all of this fascism everyone is talking about? The last time I checked, journalists are still free to claim Trumpy is a double-secret Russian plant. Jim Carrey is free to slanderously caricature everyone with an "R" after their name. Jim Acosta, despite his rampant douchebaggery, has yet to see a gulag.
If lefties dislike the Donald, that's fine. Different strokes and all that. Though, it's one thing to express philosophical opposition. It's another thing altogether to claim your opponent is Hitler 2.0 without any evidence.
We're all still waiting for the left to win us over on their "Drumpf is a fascist" claims. Until they can cite a real example of totalitarian buttholery from our tangerine-hued POTUS, we're not buying it.
Speaking of that:
