Chicago public school students deserve better than this. And when teaching officials can't even spell “governor,” you understand why they provide abysmal results.

The Chicago Teachers Union released an ad campaign where they urged residents to send letters to the "Governer" to "make the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share and fully fund our schools." They have since deleted the campaign post because of how embarrassing it was.

Now, besides the comical misspelling of “Governor,” there are still several things wrong with what they did.

First, the Chicago public school system is one of the most funded districts in the nation. Yet, they deliver awful rates, and it’s unsurprising considering these people cannot spell if their lives depended on it.

This embarrassing campaign of their undercover attempt to panhandle comes after a report revealed “that the school system spent a staggering $14.5 million in 'excessive' travel expenses in FY 2023 and FY 2024 combined.”

They also have the same credit rating as countries like “Azerbaijan, Colombia, Morocco, Oman, and Vietnam,” while places like “Serbia and Hungary, among many other nations, have a better credit rating.”

Not only can they not spell simple words, but they also fail their students. Not only are they overfunded, but they also spend their money poorly, and they also want more money after it was revealed they used COVID funds for lavish trips. You really cannot make this insanity up.

Again, students deserve much better than the people running the district, as this is nothing more than a national embarrassment run by a bunch of woke, corrupt leftists who put students last. Pathetic, and completely unacceptable.

It’s time to make Chicago Public Schools great again, and that starts with defunding and dismantling the teachers' union.
