There used to be a time when the former president and former first lady would shut their pie holes as the next president and next first lady ran the country. But those were also the days when people were accountable for their own feelings, VHS tapes needed to be rewound before being returned to Blockbuster Video, and a pixel was about one square inch, printed on perforated paper. Now we have former first lady and current snob Michelle Obama taking a swipe at Trump while slighting single dads. She compared living under a Trump Presidency as being a disturbed teenager living with a divorced father. Remember, leftists claim they're compassionate and conservatives are just big meanies.

From the UK Independent:

“We come from a broken family, we are a little unsettled,” Ms Obama said. “Sometimes you spend the weekend with divorced dad. That feels like fun but then you get sick. That is what America is going through. We are living with divorced dad.”

This implies divorced dads are fun until you need them. Then divorced dads are useless sacks of crap deserving our ire, while divorced, single mothers are somehow the angels we should all emulate. Michelle continued:

“This may feel like a dark chapter but any story has its highs and lows but it continues. Yes, we are in a low but we have been lower. We have had tougher times, we have had more to fear. We have lived through slavery, the Holocaust and segregation."

As a quick recap of the Trump Presidency, unemployment is down, wages are up, taxes are down (yes, you keep more every paycheck, hence your refund is lower, that's a good thing). So I'm really not sure what Michelle is talking about when she says it's a "dark chapter." It's not like people are being lied to about keeping their doctor. It's not like people are being left to die in Benghazi. It's not like people are being lied to about a gun-running operation in Mexico, or paying off Iran with millions of dollars. But you know, media pushed a fake Russian conspiracy which had all the merit of the tooth fairy's dental plan. So... that means we can insult single dads and stuff.

Advice to Michelle: shut your bloviating yap. It's giving us all the headaches.
