You've likely noticed the left encourages religious freedom when it comes to Muslim practices (see University Madison Students Want Religious Freedom for Muslims… But Not Christians! and CANADA: Ex-Muslim Woman Protests Against Sharia. Police Silence Her!). Christians? NEIN! Take this story for example.

A high school senior was suspended from her private Christian school because she got knocked up. Spoiler: her baby daddy isn't the Holy Spirit.

Runkles was student council president, vice president of Key Club, and on the soccer team. She is finishing senior year with a 4.0 grade point average.

In January, she found out she was pregnant.

The school, which abides by a strict religious code of conduct prohibiting "sexually immoral" behavior, reacted swiftly and harshly. Runkles was removed from all student leadership roles. She was told she'd be kicked out of school and could not be seen on campus, though that was later amended to a two-day suspension.

She was also told she would not be allowed to go to graduation on June 2.

As a private institution, the school has a private set of rules. You might not like them. You might find them puritanical. But you're not going to the school, you didn't agree to the rules. Rules she violated. Much like she and her high school sweetheart violated the last vestiges of her innocence. So in turn, the school took disciplinary action. Now droves of leftists snotholes are upset at the school.

We all have our own opinions on sexual morality (read Waiting Til the Wedding Night - Getting Married the Right Way). And yes, if this gal wanted to indulge her partner in sex out of wedlock, perhaps she should have considered immaculate contraception. Regardless, we neither condemn nor condone the actions of this school. The issue here is more so that the left’s outrage is centered on the religious actions of a PRIVATE institution. This school operates under the First Amendment.

Of course, notice that these very same leftists make no mention of Muslim gals being "lightly beaten" by their loving husbands. That gets filed under religious freedom and swept under the prayer mat. #Tolerance

It would seem anti-religious criticisms are reserved exclusively for Christians. Though it's hardly a strange notion to LwC readers. Christian condemnation by the left is nothing new...
