I don't remember when Portland Police Chief Bob Day cried over any of the killings of American citizens committed by criminal aliens, do you? That is because he only sheds tears for two gang members killed by federal agents, despite them being part of Tren de Aragua. The internet is now calling for his resignation, and rightfully so. When your job is to defend the rights of Americans, it’s reprehensible to shed tears over foreign nationals who not only broke federal immigration laws but are part of a gang known to terrorize Americans. The math is not adding up here, and the fact that he still has a job is a scandal in itself.

According to the Daily Caller:

“They do have some nexus to involvement with TdA, we can confirm that … and what I can say is that there is an association with the two folks from yesterday and TdA,” Day said during the press conference.

“I hesitated to even share this information initially because I’m very aware of the historic injustice of victim blaming often times portrayed by law enforcement, including this very agency that I’ve represented so proudly for so many years, and historically we have not been quick to disclose the potential criminal history of others,” he continued.

He then went on to say, “I want to speak for just a moment specifically to my Latino community,” while appearing to become emotional and pausing for a moment. “It saddens me that we even have to qualify these remarks because I understand, or at least have attempted to understand, through your voices, your concern, your fear, your anger.”

What makes this so pathetic and deranged is not just the fact that he cried over two gang members, but that he ties them to the “Latino community.” He does realize that the majority of Latinos are not gang members, right? He does realize they don't wish to be tied into this, right? He does realize that just because people share the same ethnicity, that does not mean there is a correlation here, right? Well, it would appear not.

The fact that the left believes this puts them on the right side of history is a scandal in itself. People like him are not compassionate for shedding tears for gang members. People like him are not on the winning side of the issue for speaking out when gang members get killed, not the victims of their crimes. This should not be controversial, yet he sheds crocodile tears as if that gets him compassion points. It’s deeply pathetic, to say the very least.

It’s incredibly racist to correlate the Latino community with gang members, and the sooner the left realizes that, the more "composition" they will be. Considering this is Portland, this man unfortunately still has a job. Pathetic, just all around pathetic, to say the very least.
