Chelsea Clinton Breaks Rank, Defends Kellyanne Conway Against Sexist Joke...

Team Crowder
March 04, 2017

Yesterday, we wrote about the Democratic D-bag who used Kellyanne Conway's couch non-incident to call her a whore, followed by deafening silence from feminists. I guess the basic human decency and respect for women leftists tout only applies to registered Democrats. Well, here's a pleasant surprise from the one of the most unlikeliest of places. Chelsea Clinton has spoken out in defense of Kellyanne. No joke...

Chelsea Clinton said a sexually charged joke directed at White House aide Kellyanne Conway by Democratic Rep. Cedric Richmond was “despicable,” and called on Richmond to apologize to Conway.

Referring to a picture of Conway kneeling on a couch in the Oval Office, Richmond said she looked “familiar” with being on her knees, a comment that she described as sexist.

Despicable. I hope @KellyannePolls receives the apology she deserves-certainly never thought I'd write that & I mea… https://t.co/WoTkv8kaPd

Thank you, @ChelseaClinton. As strong women, as moms to Charlottes...appreciate you speaking out on this. https://t.co/rxBnXq553t

Richmond claimed the joke wasn’t meant to have sexual connotations.

“I notice he did not apologize, he tried to clarify,” Conway previously told The Daily Caller. She also said that the media would have been more outraged “not just if I were a liberal woman, but if I were a pro-abortion one.”

Firstly, major credit where due here. Chelsea Clinton stepped up where feminist landwhales simply flopped over and grabbed another donut. But they're still beautiful, you hate monger. We have little common ground with Chelsea, but her breaking ranks from her fellow Democrat feminists (who claim to care about women being verbally maligned by a man) is significant. I offer my kudos in the form of this applause GIF. It's the internet's way.

Feminists blather about mainstream misogyny of mythic, Kraken-like proportions, but when someone throws them a bone, they don't budge. All because the victim doesn't have the "correct" party affiliation. That silence says a lot about where said feminists really stand on sexism. But, to Chelsea Clinton's credit, at least she's willing to speak out.

Speaking of feminist myths...
