It’s been exactly one year since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The Left is still celebrating; the Left is still violent. Today’s show breaks down what we have learned from then and now.
“One year ago today, the Left was gleefully celebrating,” Crowder said.
Back then, those on the right were heartbroken after Kirk was killed.
“There was a world in which [everyone on the right] could all be on board with one thing, and that is facing a violent threat,” Crowder said.
Back then, the left celebrated the assassination. They are still celebrating, and it is getting so much worse.
The University of Tennessee-Knoxville is condemning messages that celebrate political violence after mysterious "Kirkaversery" [sic] flyers advertised a gathering apparently marking one year since Charlie Kirk’s assassination, declaring, "WE WILL CELEBRATE THE FIRST NEW YEAR AK (AFTER KIRK)."
“It is fine to say ‘I disagreed with everything he stood for.’ I said that when it happened. So I am not asking for false praise just because someone died. What they did, after he died, was misrepresent him completely, not point people to the source material, Charlie’s words and writing, and they did that to cement hatred,” Crowder said. “That is why you are still seeing today the left actively calling for violence and, of course, dishonoring Charlie Kirk.”
Because of the left, prominent Conservatives face threats of violence every day.
“They are still actively calling for the death of Conservatives," Crowder said. “Why do you think he had so much security that day? Why do you think he had so many areas roped off? Why do you think he had to travel with the entourage that he did? Why do you think that many people on the right also do? If he had never done that, you would have seen the assassination much, much earlier, and you would have seen far more of them.”
