Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer thinks she can reinvent herself by cosplaying as a "moderate" before she runs for president. It's a smart play, as every other potential 2028 Democrat trips over themselves calling anyone who disagrees with them a fascist. It's an issue that financial podcaster Caleb Hammer brought up.

I'm just learning who Hammer is, who apparently has a top ten financial podcast. He's someone who found himself in massive debt, got out of it, and now tries to help people climb out of it. Kinda like a Zoomer Dave Ramsey, preaching the fascist message of personal financial responsibility.

No, seriously. That's what Gretch's left-wing peers accuse him of.

We just saw Charlie Kirk get shot. People are gonna view me as being more right-wing from this conversation because I push back on left-wing policies ... they already call me "fascist" and "nazi" online because I say personal responsibility is ok with money. People are labelling that [fascist] and then killing them because "kill all fascists." You label a normal person a fascisit, you kill them?"

Hammer asked about what's happening with political rhetoric in this country, where Whitmer took a cue from the last woman to run for president and tossed a meaningless word salad, trying to both sides the issue and claim she's calling it out, which, spoiler, she doesn't do. No Democrat does. Except, maybe, John Fetterman, and they are trying to primary him for it.

It's amusing to watch Democrats go on apolitical shows. Unlike when they go on leftwing programs like CNN or NBC News, their leftwing policies get challenged and they don't know how to answer. Like when Hammer called out Gretch's insane COVID lockdown policies. Remember when she banned people from buying seeds to grow their own food? She would prefer if you didn't.

If Caleb really is as apolitical as the clips I've seen make him out to be, it will be interesting to see more elected officials sit down with him. Imagine a conversation about fiscal responsibility in which a normal person asks normal questions about it. I'd like to see JD Vance on.
