It is not possible to name a perfect country. That is because the people who run the countries are not perfect. This is also because the people who live in these countries are not perfect. So, while it is important to remember the mistakes of the past, it is also crucial to acknowledge how places have made the world better. No country has done more for the world than the United States of America. The left, however, has seemed to have forgotten that, which is why many leftists are bashing this great nation less than two months away from its 250th birthday.
CBS's Margaret Brennan holds back tears after claiming there's "a lot of darkness" these days as we approach America's 250th birthday.

CBS host Margaret Brennan tried to get two Medal of Honor recipients to bash America. She failed miserably. On the verge of tears, she asked William Swenson and Matthew Miller why they feel optimistic when there is “a lot of darkness” in this country. And to claim their response was a slap in the face to the entirety of identity politics would be an understatement
According to Swenson, “we have to remember that politics is not everything.” This is true. The problem with the left, however, is that politics is their entire identity. This is why they are personally offended when you disagree with them, as it encompasses their entire being. He added that while there are political disagreements in this country, lives carry on, and “this country is a great place.”
"It is not just the news bites coming out of the media. Ultimately, we continue forward as a country, continually imperfect, continually evolving forward, always trying to achieve a more important Union,” adding that “no other place in history has gotten to where we are today, and we need to be proud of that, and we need to focus on what we can be.”
Miller delivered similar remarks, adding that America has “made tremendous strides,” and taking politics aside, Americans should be grateful for what they have and the opportunities this country offers. And when you do that, there is no place to mull over this so-called “darkness.”
The fact that the left very likely finds this controversial tells you all you need to know. What these two Medal of Honor recipients said is precisely why the left claims to hate this country, yet refuses to leave. That is because no matter what Progressives say, there is no better place to be than this great nation. And again, the fact that this is controversial is astonishing.
