Watch: An Honest Review of Pam Bondi's Performance as AG So Far
When it comes to the Department of Justice and Attorney General Pam Bondi, there has been some good and there has been some bad. Today’s show grades Bondi’s performance so far, and it was not on a curve.
“Trust is at an all-time low — that’s why these people were put in. But nothing is really happening on that front,” Crowder said. “We’re not seeing it.”
According to the DOJ, “Federal authorities have arrested 16 individuals and seized record-breaking quantities of fentanyl, cash, firearms, and vehicles across multiple states, dismantling one of the largest and most dangerous drug trafficking organizations in U.S. history.” Additionally, over several days, authorities arrested “more than 200 child sexual abuse offenders.” They also went after two judges “in two separate cases involving the alleged obstruction of federal law enforcement operations and unlawful concealment of individuals residing illegally in the United States.”
All of that is great, but people like Bondi and Patel have yet to make good on their promise.
"Why are they in office? What kind of promises did they make?" Crowder said.
On Jan. 15, Pondi claimed she "will fight every day to restore confidence and integrity to the DOJ and each of its components." Patel has made similar claims.
"Where is the accountability for the lawfare?" Crowder said.
According to AP News:
New Attorney General Pam Bondi on [Feb. 5] ordered a review of the federal prosecution of Donald Trump as she unveiled a series of directives designed to overhaul a Justice Department the president claims is biased against conservatives.
Hours after she was sworn in at the White House, Bondi called for the creation of “weaponization working group” that will scrutinize the work of special counsel Jack Smith, who charged Trump in two criminal cases. The group will also review “unethical prosecutions” stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, among other things, according to the memo.
“You can judge a country by the level of corruption in its institutions,” Crowder said. “This was the worst corruption that we have seen in our lifetimes.”
It’s been three months, and there has yet to be any update on the “weaponization working group”.
“What about Jan. 6?” Crowder said. “We still don’t know anything about the FBI instigators in the crowd.”
Yesterday, Bondi claimed the FBI is still reviewing “tens of thousands of videos of Epstein” evidence.
“Someone like Bondi is worse for the Conservative movement than anything the left could concoct,” Crowder said. “The enemy is from within.”
