Bernie Sanders Praises Castro in '60 Minutes' Interview ... in 2020 [VIDEO]
Bernie Sanders has a much better chance than people are giving him credit for. The media and the Democrat establishment didn’t learn any lessons from the media and the Republican establishment four years ago. The media and the Democrat establishment attitude toward Bernie in 2020 sound just like the media and the Republican establishment attitude toward Trump in 2016. But if Bernie ends up losing the nomination, it's because he just can't stop himself from praising commies.
Mostly, it's been clips from the past (see WATCH: Bernie Sanders LOVED IT When Fidel Castro Took Over Cuba and Watch Bernie Sanders Openly Praising Fidel Castro. Trashing Freedom…). But "60 Minutes" gave Sanders a chance to backtrack from his past comments. Bernie decided to double down instead. In 2020.

We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba, but you know, it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?
Donald Trump said "grab them by the pussy." When Trump came into office, you know what else he did? He had a massive economy and job creation through the roof. Is that a bad thing? Even though Trump did it? Because some major things Trump didn't do are STARVE, TORTURE, AND MURDER HIS CITIZENS. I know Bernie fans are shouting, "Yet! Trump didn't do that yet!"
This is what makes Bernie such an interesting Democrat presidential candidate. He doesn't lie. He doesn't lie about his feelings toward other commies. He doesn't lie about being able to keep your doctor. He doesn't lie that you'll be able to get all the free things he claims are "human rights" just by taxing millionaires and billionaires. Sorry, I mean just billionaires. Now that Bernie is a millionaire, the equation has changed.
Bernie is leveraging his base's greed and turning it into a rallying cry, and somehow into a virtue. It isn't, but good luck trying to paint Castro as a literacy hero.
Trump vs. Bernie 2020. Let's do this!
