Bernie Sanders Speaks Out Against Leftist Protesters Harassing Conservatives
Bernie Sanders is a commie garden gnome with a grudge against underarm deodorant. He's also proof that sometimes people can surprise you. Case in point: Jake Tapper asked Bernie if he supports the current trend of lefty protesters harassing conservatives.
Apparently, the Bern ain't feelin' it.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said he’s not thrilled by liberal protesters disrupting conservative activities or being rude. He would much rather see progressives voice their outrage through the ballot box.The former presidential candidate told Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he strongly supports mobilizing the American people to stand up for economic, social, racial and environmental justice but that there are more and less effective ways to go about this.
“I am not a great fan of being rude or disrupting activities,” Sanders said. “But this is what I will say. This entire … election campaign is going to come down to two words, and that is voter turnout.”
Sanders had a simple message: Anyone who is sick of seeing the “very rich getting richer” while “the middle class continues to struggle” needs to vote and encourage like-minded friends and families to do the same.
Well, I never thought I'd be giving props to Bernie Sanders. On this issue though, I have no choice. Props to the Bern for speaking out against those harassing lefty douchenuggets. Cheers.
Sure, within the next 24 hours, the Bern will make another Marxian remark that'll cause him to fall out of our favor, but he's nailed it on this issue.
If the left has such a problem with the way Republicans are running things, they need only head to the polls and fill out their ballots. Their odds of success would be much higher doing that than writhing on the ground like a spoiled brat in the toy aisle of a Walmart.
