Awesome! Ben Carson Launches Two New TV ads That are Very... Well, Ben Carson.

Brodigan
October 23, 2015

That Ben Carson...he's so hot right now.

How hot? Besides topping Donald Trump in a SECOND Iowa poll, he is now launching two separate TV spots in the early primary states!

The $500,000 ad buy will air in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada, and includes themes centered on Carson's history as a doctor and status as an outsider in the 2016 race. Both ads end with the tagline: "Heal, Inspire, Revive."

A Carson campaign aide told NBC News it has always been their plan to begin airing TV ads early into the Republican primary, and that this week the timing was right to release the ads as new polls show Carson surging and even topping Trump in Iowa.

Now, we're getting to the point where the primary starts to matter...mainly because people are going to start spending money. Ben Carson has an insane amount of cash on hand, and he really hasn't been spending a ton of it. Now he's started to top the Iowa polls, it seems like a good time to open the checkbook. Seems like this was his gameplan all along. Lay low for a while, stay positive, and keep the cash pile on hand to tap into momentum. His approach is, dare I say it, surgical.

Look for Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio to start doing the same.

Donald Trump? He can just blame his insult to Iowa voters on his "intern." Or GMO corn. Or just insult all Midwestern Americans in the process. Basically rage and blame everyone but himself. It's what Trump does.
