Leftists, at least until recently, held Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in high regard. I mean, he exposed George Bush's illegal war. They even made a movie about him. Speak truth to power, expose corrupt government, yargle blargle, yackity schmackity! All hail Assange.

I wonder what those leftists are thinking now...

In July, a Democratic National Committee staffer named Seth Rich was gunned down in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of northwest D.C. The police said his murder may have been the result of a robbery.

Now, however, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is saying there is more to the story.

In an interview with a Dutch media outlet known as Nieuwsuur on Tuesday, Assange admitted that Rich, a staffer in the voter data department of the DNC, was Wikileak’s source within the organization.

In recent weeks, Wikileaks has released a torrent of information from inside the DNC — from emails to memos to voicemails — that has resulted in the resignation of top party officials, including Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. According to Assange, Rich arranged a large portion of this information.

After Rich’s murder, Assange announced that Wikileaks was offering a $20,000 reward for anyone who could provide information leading to an arrest and conviction in Rich’s murder case.

So, Rich was the (alleged) source for the DNC email leak (see Surprise! #DNCLeaks Exposes Media’s Collusion with Democrats… and Leftist Cannibalism: Bernie and Hillary Supporters Clash at DNC…)? Do we think the mainstream media is going to further investigate Seth Rich's death? You know, to be double sure? To at least attempt to prove Assange is a crazy, paranoid, conspiracy theorist?

Look, this is all hearsay and Lord knows we don't want to bust out the tin foil hats. So take all of this with buckets of salt. But can we be real here for a second? Doesn't it seem to you that Assange is hinting, winking and nodding that Rich was at least a source of information, and it's pretty freaking weird that Rich was murdered in a "robbery" after dropping a crap ton of information about the DNC? That's all we're asking. Obviously we're not going to say definitively, as Assange is also unwilling to say definitively, that Seth Rich was a source. But it kind of seems like Seth Rich is the source.

We'll play this fiddle the same way we refer to Bill Clinton as an ALLGED rapist. Because when it comes to the Clintons, they have a rather shady reputation when it comes to...well, all things.

Are we saying the Clinton's personally offed Seth Rich? No, of course not. We're not sure who ordered the alleged kill. If the kill was even ordered at all. What would be nice is a little more investigation into Seth's supposed robbery-turned-murder, in light of all this wink-wink, nod-nod controversy. Yes?

Speaking of questionable scenarios, Hillary Clinton running anything besides her own pantsuit line? Horrible idea.
