After years of wanting to abolish police, open the borders, legalize crime, and treat your teenage daughter like she was the one with a mental problem for not wanting to see a cock out in the locker room, Democrats are learning those policies are unpopular with the American people. Or, they did after the 2024 election, flip-flopped in 2025, but are flop-flipping back in 2026. Popular social media influencer Rep. AOC dropped the new approved party messaging on the topic.

"Like, Woke 1 was, like, super cray-cray or something."

That's the new excuse, and I'm sure you'll see it repeated on CNN as part of their "news' coverage by Wednesday. Trying to convince voters that the words that came out of elected officials' mouths while they were elected officials were no longer something you were allowed to hold them accountable for wasn't working. The left is going to attempt this.

As Republican Congressman Brandon Gill says, nope.

You don't get to spend years pushing to fundamentally transform the country, divide it on racial lines, inject DEI into every institution, and then try to brush it off as a minor misunderstanding when your worldview turns out to be extremely unpopular with the American people.

Accepting Rep. AOC's premise that woke 1 was "crazy," Democrat primary voters in 2026 are all about it. They are all set to nominate Francesca Hong as their gubernatorial nominee. If we created this harpy as a parody of everything we make fun of the left for, Crowder would reject it because we were being a bit too ridiculous.

Obviously, Democrat Socialist 2 is all about Woke 1, because Hong is about to be at the top of the Democrat ticket. But let's focus on Rep. AOC, because she was all about Woke 1 up until yesterday. And not just the standards of open borders, defunding police, and boys in the girls' bathroom.

Even when she would attempt to cosplay as a baddie who called Trump fat or Steven Miller short, she was forced to apologize for fat-shaming and to the "short kings" who were offended. There is not a single policy or dunderbrained statement that you would associate with Woke 1 that Rep. AOC didn't make a part of her personality.

Rep. AOC did it both in her social media content, as well as her side hustle as a member of Congress.

A reporter with the slightest bit of dignity or self-respect would call her out on it. Rep. AOC tries her best to avoid those reporters, though.
