Anti-Texas billboard pops up in California, but no one knows if Californians or Texans are behind it
Californians are fleeing the state like migrants fleeing Mexico. Though, California has gotten so bad that residents are crossing the border the other way. The state sucks is what we're getting at, and a new billboard has popped up encouraging Californians to stop moving to Texas. The only problem is that no one knows who put up the billboard. It could be Californians. It could be Texans who want low-information progressive voters to stay in the sinkhole they create for themselves.
'Don't Move to Texas' billboards in California invoke Uvalde massacreyoutu.be
A report from SF Gate (shout out to Not the Bee) says the billboard has no party affiliation or sponsor. It could be California-based trying to stop their tax revenue and representation in congress from going to a conservative state on California's state government no-fly list. The billboard could be Texas-based using reverse psychology to urge Californians to stay there since many California are icky and gross. Also, as low-information progressives are known to do, they move to free states but vote for the same idiots who caused them to leave their previous homes.
I can go either way. The billboard has California flair. They are trying to scare voters into believing that Texas' "lax" gun laws have turned the state too violent. This ignores how California's strict gun control laws have left Californians defenseless, while progressive policies have made the streets unsafe and caused a crime wave. But in blue states, the left is successful using social issues to con voters into voting against their self-interests. I'm sure a second billboard will go up letting Californians know if they want to abort a baby in the third trimester, Texas isn't a safe space for them, either.
But you can also see a group of civic-minded Texans pooling their resources and putting this billboard up so people stop moving. And Texans also know how easily manipulated Cali's progressive base is by hot-button social issues.
The billboard remains a mystery. Sound off in the comment section in whatever social media app sent you here with what you think.
