Alec Baldwin Tells Howard Stern: I Could Totally Beat Trump
Alec Baldwin's "impersonation" of Trump is ruining SNL. At least in the eyes of people who enjoy funny things (see WATCH: Norm MacDonald on Why Alec Baldwin’s “Trump” Sucks and SNL Alum Rob Schneider: Politics is Ruining the Show). But what if it came down to Baldwin vs. Donald Trump in an election? According to the actor, he'd totally win.
Alec Baldwin isn’t the American president, but he plays one on TV. And we’ve heard rumblings of a 2020 White House run for the 30 Rock alum and SNL‘s designated Donald Trump. So how about it?
“If I ran for president, I would win, hands down,” Baldwin said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show today. “It would be the funniest, most exciting, most crazy campaign.” Watch the video clip above.
Funnier and crazier than that last GOP one, dude? Well maybe — seeing as Howard Stern suggested he “run for president as Donald Trump.”
More interesting is the first four seconds of this clip. Where you catch Baldwin saying he can only think of a few people who could beat Trump. Then includes himself.
As memory serves, isn't there a tape of Alec Baldwin shaming his daughter? The one where he calls her a rude little pig? Came up on a quick Google search for me. I'm sure Trump's campaign could easily find it if needed. Just as an FYI to team Baldwin.
By the way, Alec, your Trump impersonation su-diddly-ucks.
