After the debacle over the Great American State Fair -- which, to be fair, the lineup was two packs of ass -- the left and the media (but I repeat myself) have turned their attention to UFC Freedom 250. There are complaints about the aesthetics. There's a lawsuit (shocker) to try and get the show canceled. If there is a way for the media or the left (but I repeat myself) to ruin the fun for the rest of us, they'll be spending the next week trying to do so. One person they shouldn't waste their time with is Zac Brown.
Side Note: Zac Brown Band is one of the best touring live acts out there. I've seen them like six or seven times. If you have the opportunity to get to a concert, you should take it.
Zac is set to sing the National Anthem before the UFC show at the White House. He was on with Pat McAfee, and took aim at critics of him *checks notes* signing our country's National Anthem with the Marine Band.
Man, I’m there for the troops. I’m there to honor America. This is patriotism, not politics for me. F*ck all the division. I don’t believe in that. I love this country. I love all the people that have sacrificed so that I can live my American dream and that everyone that lives here gets a chance to do that…
It doesn’t have a place in politics for me.

Taking a political stand is a choice. Or, more specifically, letting yourself be bullied into taking a political stand is a choice. The artists who pulled out of the Great American State Fair chose to let themselves be bullied out of performing. Zac Brown is making the choice to honor America.
Being a douche because you don't like the guy in the Oval Office is a choice. It's also a choice made by people calling to boycott something they never supported. Even if you loathe the president, there is an adult way to view the show at the White House.
If you want to break down the politics or feel some type of way about the White House event, I totally understand, but that's not how I'm choosing to view this.
To me, this is a celebration of the sport and the fighters. Honestly, it's also a celebration of the UFC, an… pic.twitter.com/BLe4XeGvVm

Good on Zac Brown. It's going to be a great show.
