Watch: What does the Future of the American Right Wing Look Like? Take This Litmus Test

There has been a “fracturing” happening within right-wing spaces despite everyone fighting for the same cause, which is to preserve and protect this great nation. Crowder opened today’s show with this very important message.
"The coalition of people who want to preserve, protect, and recognize and respect America precludes the Democratic Party and progressive left," Crowder said. “I have seen the gains that have been made.”
No one predicted that males in the younger generation would become the most conservative generation in this country. No one predicted that there would be such a huge pushback against things like cancel culture, so much so that they elected Donald Trump as president.
"I see two different factions. You have people who are trying to issue some purity tests. You have some people who are saying this needs to be the biggest test possible. And you also have people who say you cannot let just anyone in because that would subvert the movement," Crowder said. "We are at a point where a lot of people say, 'What does it mean to be a conservative? What does it mean to be America first when we are losing?' It is more important to say that when we are winning, when we are making gains."
The ownership behind this is to elect presidents and shape culture.
“So what does that party look like?” Crowder said. “You have people who want to be too exclusive, and they are wrong. And then you have people who want to let wolves in the door. What is the future?”
Crowder has proposed to view this through the lens of “national borders vs state borders” or “closed-handed vs open-handed” issues, and then determine who should be considered an ally.
“To be a conservative, to be America first, and to be right-wing in this country, I think people need to meet some very specific standards as far as national borders. These are nonnegotiables, these are close-handed issues.”
This includes freedom of speech, the right to self-defense, pro-truth, America First, strong borders, and a strong military.
“These are issues where there can be no compromise,” Crowder said.
Another point is pro-tradition or pro-Christiandom.
“Meaning, I know plenty of Atheists who are not quite there in their faith walk yet, but they recognize that the Christian founding of this nation is fundamental to what we need to preserve.”
This also includes pro-gender roles and Pro-life in principle.
“Someone can be gay but also recognize that the nuclear family is fundamental to self-governance,” Crowder said.
“These are closed-handed issues, these are national borders,” Crowder said. “We need to be a united front on these issues.”
When it comes to “state borders,” there can be a difference of opinion.
Open-handed issues would include "the degree of pro-life vision in contrast to state variance." This would also include "the degree of economic regulation," where you balance free and open commerce, while protecting American consumers and businesses. This would also include an approach to Islamic containment.
“We can disagree, but I don't think this qualifies as expelling someone from the movement,” Crowder said.
If a person who claims to be part of this coalition spends more time attacking others
Conservatives over open-handed issues than the left, or those who wish to destroy this country, then that is a huge indicator that they are not genuinely in the fight to preserve this nation.
“I hope that all of us can get on board and focus on the real threat facing this country, western civilization, and its roots that is modern Christendom," Crowder said.
