Periods. Menstruation. The UK is teaching BOYS that BOYS have periods.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: any time I write about the plague of stupid befalling the United Kingdom, my heart just breaks. Britain is -- or was -- our cultural home. The UK has blessed the world with a great many cultural treasures, artistic gems, literary feats, and theatric wonders. Many of my family members hail from the Olde Country. In general, I find Brits to be tremendous people of great wit and good humour.

But my oh my has Britain taken a stumble. Political correctness, which maybe was just embraced there before it was in the United States, is damaging the once great Great Britain possibly beyond repair. And for what? Oh I know, the United States is following in our former country's wobbling step, racing toward the edge of insanity for much the same reasons. We need to stop. We must let Britain lead by example in what not to do, as Rita Panhai explains above. The question is, will we?
