Well, finally a man with a pair big enough to point AOC to the nearest corner, where she can sit to think about what she’s done. And yes, I would make that same statement about a man who’d screwed up so horrendously they needed a timeout. Don’t play the sexist card, I’m already feeling spicy. Chuck Todd on Meet the Press shook his finger at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her use of “concentration camps” when talking about the crisis of the Southern border. And maybe it’s the wine talking, but methinks he played this pretty fair. Check it out:
Ocasio-Cortez's comparison of ICE detentions to concentration camps did border detainees "a tremendous disservice" #MTPDaily
"She said she didn't use those words lightly," Chuck Todd said. "Well, neither did I." pic.twitter.com/5CIOfWn7BQ

Who had Chuck Todd for the guy man enough to tell the freshman to sit down and shut up? I certainly didn’t. I was thinking it would be Nancy Pelosi behind closed doors with a frowny face and maybe a paddle. Chuck Todd though, no.
Props to him for being pretty fair about this. AOC did a great disservice to just about everyone down the line for comparing illegal immigration enforcement to a terrible atrocity committed by Nazis. Especially to the six million Jews who died in Nazi concentration death camps who were never just free to go home. Remember, the people detained at the border first tried to invade the United States. Unlike the Jews who were rounded up, shoved into cattle cars, and transported to camps where they worked until they were gassed. Minor differences, sure. But maybe not everything is comparable to the Holocaust. Credit where due to Chuck Todd for putting AOC in her place.
