It was well understood that Washington DC is a violent and crime-riddled cesspool that, according to statistics and pie charts, isn't as violent as it was during the start of the crack epidemic. Donald Trump agrees, and decided to do something about now. Now, all of a sudden, we are to believe the violence and crime are fake news and DC is a great place to live.

At least, on the record. Off the record, leftists are glad someone is finally doing something. They just can't say so out loud because derpity derp Orangman bad.

Popular DC influencer account Washingtonian Problems called on followers to brag about how awesome #TheRealDC is. Yes, an account called Washingtonian PROBLEMS that, quote, "literally posts DC crime videos on IG every single day," now wants people to share how beautiful their home is.

You can guess where this is going, correct?

They got an earful of #TheRealDC.

"I got stabbed on the metro by a homeless vagrant."

"Loved looking out my window and seeing a gang of teens beat up a child on the MBT."

"As a woman #TheRealDC means carrying pepper spray day and night. Not wearing headphones after dark. Taking off your engagement ring when walking the dogs."

"My car was broken into. One friend had a car stolen from in front of his place, another was carjacked at gun point. I’ve had to assist someone who was shot while I was just trying to drunkenly make my way home from a bar."

"I was robbed right in front of a police officer, on a college campus, and she did not intervene."

Maybe there are people in DC who aren't used to someone ackshually wanting to fix a problem. Like many blue cities that are overrun with violence and crime and horrendous living conditions, people who live there complain about it, but then keep re-electing the same failures responsible over and over again. What else are they gonna do, vote for a Republican? Eww, gross. They won't even elect a moderate Democrat.

Their mouths may say "Trump is a fascist, leave my city alone," but their brains just got stabbed going to the mailbox and aren't too upset the extra police presence might prevent it from happening a fifth time.

I'm not quite sure what a site called Washingtonian PROBLEMS was expecting.
