There was a time when Elizabeth Warren was the most prominent Democrat trying to unseat Trumpy. This was before Liz's 23&Me test results came back, proving her to be white as snow. Seeing as her faux-Indian-ity is no longer an option, Warren is having to find new ways of getting attention.

Which brings us to this:

In a series of tweets, Warren said special counsel Robert Mueller’s report showed that Trump “welcomed” help from Russia during the 2016 election, then “obstructed the investigation into that attack.”

“The severity of this misconduct demands that elected officials in both parties set aside political considerations and do their constitutional duty,” she wrote.

“That means the House should initiate impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States.”

In short, "maybe if I dial up the 'Orange Man bad' to infinity and push impeachment proceedings, people will ignore my fake squawness and like me again." Nope, not gonna work.

I'm not sure I've ever seen someone so desperate to stay relevant. The levels of pathetic in this move even eclipse Warren's "beer me" livestream. Which is saying a lot. Third-rate pandering and cheap attempts at disqualifying her opponent are all Lizzie has. So sad.

It's been hilarious to see the left's case for impeaching Trump devolve. First, it was claims of Russian collusion, then claims of obstruction. Before long, these lefties' arguments will be reduced to "just look at him." Sometimes, I think they aren't even trying.

You know, the left could go back to the drawing board and come up with some ideas people might actually like. Though, I guess that's too much work. Better to keep plugging away at their dream of seeing Trump forcefully evicted from Pennsylvania Avenue. Pathetic.
