Watch: VOGUE claims having a boyfriend is "embarrassing" because it makes people think you're a Republican

If you’re dating someone, you might just be right-wing. The left has made boyfriends a trend of the past and now considers them to be politically incorrect. Today's show breaks it down.
According to a recent article in Vogue, there is nothing more cringeworthy than having a boyfriend.
“If you were to follow their advice, you would die alone,” Crowder said. “But now they say that is a good thing.
If someone so much as says “my boyf–” on social media, they’re muted. There’s nothing I hate more than following someone for fun, only for their content to become “my boyfriend”-ified suddenly. This is probably because, for so long, it felt like we were living in what one of my favorite Substackers calls Boyfriend Land: a world where women’s online identities centered around the lives of their partners, a situation rarely seen reversed. Women were rewarded for their ability to find and keep a man, with elevated social status and praise. It became even more suffocating when this could be leveraged on social media for engagement and, if you were serious enough, financial gain.
"This is because men have checked out," Crowder said.
According to a 2022 survey, men “are now 11 percentage points less likely than in 2019 to say they are looking for a committed relationship and/or casual dates (50% in July 2022, down from 61% in 2019).”
“Women are now lonelier, fatter, and less mentally healthy, and they blame everyone but themselves," Crowder said. “Men who check out are still able to be happy. Women are not.”
As straight women, we’re confronting something that every other sexuality has had to contend with: a politicization of our identity.
“The same woman writing this either has no hope or she is about to hit the end of her biology window,” Crowder said. “If you buy into this when you are young, it can wreck your life.”
Where being single was once a cautionary tale (you’ll end up a “spinster” with loads of cats), it is now becoming a desirable and coveted status—another nail in the coffin of a centuries-old heterosexual fairytale that never really benefited women to begin with.
"These women are lying to you, and it will destroy your life," Crowder said.
