Don't ever let some truck-driving redneck tell you "The libtards hate the flag!" Such talk is pure hate speech which will earn you a pompous lecture from your intellectual betters in the DNC. Well, save from this now former Democrat official, who was asked to resign over a Facebook post. Wherein he proudly discussed standing for the flag.

“I was asked by the chair of the Allegheny County Democratic Party to resign my position due to the controversy that was taking place on social media, and I did. It’s never easy when people you have never met accuse you of things and call you names, and you’ve never met them.”

A former Marine and Gulf War veteran, Salvas was just hired in September as executive director of the county party, long after he posted a picture of his wife and him on Facebook with the words, “I stand for the flag, I kneel at the cross.”

Salvas didn't mention anything about NFL players kneeling. In fact, he says they have every right to do kneel it out. Just as he had a right to make a single Facebook post about standing for the flag. For normal people, that's a rational opinion. Stand or don't stand. It shouldn't be a question.

But today's Democrat party is the fringe. Today's Democrat party is the mob (see ANTIFA Beats Down Guy Waving American Flag and Sarah Silverman Compares Waving the US Flag to Nazi Germany). Standing for the flag is standing for America as it was designed to be: a place of freedom, equal opportunity (not equal outcome), and strength. All tenets which are frowned upon in a party which values weakness, victimhood, and seeks to be the nanny state solution to said weakness and victimhood.
