In case you didn't know, politicians do not actually read legislation that they vote on.

“We have to pass [ObamaCare] so that you can find out what is in it,” Nancy Pelosi once said.

Well, that may have been one of the only truthful things that the former speaker has ever said.

It is often understood that political corruption can be brought to light when you ‘follow the money.’

Chris Moritz, a policy expert who claims to have been doing just that, went on Tucker Carlson’s show on X to discuss the significant increase in the number of young people who identify as transgender.

During the interview, the pair dissected the profitable aspect behind the transgender industry, or what Moritz calls ‘Transgender, Inc.'

“In terms of the pace of growth [for] clinics serving pediatric patients on gender issues, in the last 15 years in the United States, we had zero, [now we have] over 100 clinics for kids,” Moritz said.

“Why?” asked a very concerned Tucker.

Although Moritz points out that it is a very complicated issue with an ambiguous answer, there is definitely a ‘policy catalyst’ that has greatly contributed to this, if not what has actually caused it.

“I would say that the biggest single policy catalyst for this explosion is Obamacare. When ObamaCare was enacted in 2010,” a provision was “very quietly” written “into the law.”.

In other words, it was embedded into ObamaCare.

When Obama said that he was going to “fundamentally transform” the nation, this is not what I thought he meant.

He added, “Insurance companies were mandated to provide coverage for what is deemed to be medically necessary gender-affirming care.” And “as a result of that, between 2010 and 2016, there was a 50% increase in sex reassignment surgeries, a 25% increase in insurance coverage for transgender individuals.”

“An additional amendment to the Affordable Care Act was [also] made whereby gender identity could no longer be a basis for denial of coverage by private insurance companies,” Moritz said.

Because of that, just the following year, “from 2016 to 2017, there was a 150% increase in sex reassignment surgeries in the United States.”

This is when a very concerned Tucker turned into a horrified and baffled Tucker.

Just imagine the cost these institutions make off of this. They are essentially turning young kids, who do not even understand the repercussions of all this, into lifelong customers.

It is honestly very disturbing and extremely sad what is happening to these children.

But really, there is nothing to see here. Just that the ‘practice of medicine’ being subordinate to the ‘business of medicine.’ But we know that is nothing new.

It doesn’t matter whether the Obama Administration decided that gender is malleable. Because that belief violates natural law. And any violation of natural law is a tyrannical takeover of the human good.

In this specific case, it is an unnatural violence that subsequently targets kids to turn them into nothing more than lifelong medical patients.

When Philosopher René Descartes said "Cogito, ergo sum" usually translated into English as, "I think, therefore I am", we now know he was really talking about transgenderism.

Obama definitely transformed the nation, and one of the most significant cultural shifts he accomplished was in the realm of transgenderism.
