Watch: What Exactly Is In Trump's Iran Deal? It's Hard To Say...
Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
President Trump announced America has reached a deal with Iran. Today’s show went over what we know so far.
“No deal has been published,” Crowder said.
According to Trump:
The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow! President DONALD J. TRUMP
“It is not super clear. The details have not been laid out,” Crowder said.
Despite JD Vance being a bit clearer, the full text has yet to be released. According to Vance, “Iran will have a much better and much more prosperous future if they meet the obligations they make in this agreement."
"Sometimes with these agreements, there are some diplomatic protocols, some technical things to work out, but we plan to release the full text this week," Vance said.
The problem here is these statements are vague. According to Trump, a deal has been reached. According to Vance, some things still need to be worked out.
Iran, however, has announced some details on the deal, which may or may not be true.
This includes the following:
Withdrawing forces from around Iran and allowing the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
It also includes a requirement for the United States and its allies to present reconstruction plans worth at least $300 billion for Iran.
The release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day talks
Iran would reiterate its commitment under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty not to pursue nuclear weapons.
“If this is true, and keep in mind, I have no idea because Iran lies as easily as they speak, that is what they do, this is not good,” Crowder said.
According to Crowder, the Trump Administration might be hoping the market rebounds.
“I do not understand what this means,” Crowder said. “There is no way for this administration to even identify allies because they are so bad with their messaging. This could be a great thing, but the rollout has been awful.”
Israel has decided to denounce the deal.
“What I think we do know is that this Administration wants to work with Iran and this Administration has made it clear that our goals are not necessarily the same goals as Israel right now,” Crowder said.
Crowder added that success coming out of this would look like no more nuclear stockpiles, no more enrichment, and the Strait of Hormuz being opened.
"Unless that is accomplished, then I will say this will be looked back upon as a big misstep. Because how are you any better off? And if we are better off, it is the job of this administration to communicate that," Crowder said.
