Somewhere down the leftist path to insanity, Indigenous Peoples' Day became a thing. However, anyone with a fraction of a brain knows how asinine such a “holiday” is. That is why Trump did what needed to be done: he made Columbus Day great once again.
According to Fox News:
President Donald Trump's Cabinet and others at the White House broke out into applause Thursday afternoon when Trump signed a proclamation honoring Italian explorer Christopher Columbus.
"Today we have your Columbus Day proclamation for Monday, which we're signing a bit early," White House staff secretary Will Scharf told Trump Thursday ahead of the monthly Cabinet meeting.
"Columbus, obviously, discovered the new world in 1492. He was a great Italian explorer. He sailed his three ships, the Nina, the Pinto and Santa Maria, across the Atlantic Ocean, and landed in what's today the Caribbean. And this is a particularly important holiday for Italian Americans who celebrate the legacy of Christopher Columbus, and the innovation and explorer zeal that he represented," he continued.
Isn’t it comical that the POTUS has to give the public a history lesson that used to be taught in second grade? While I’m not entirely sure what the public school system is teaching kids these days, we can almost be certain it’s along the lines of Columbus being bad and Indigenous people being good.
Trump continued in his remarks Thursday saying, "We're back, Italians," as applause continued.
Great. Now let’s cancel more woke things. While this is a good start—especially since all the left seems to do is mock Western culture—it’s just that: a start. But at least we can all rest assured that Columbus Day is great once again.
It’s unclear what Elizabeth Warren has to say about this, but it’s safe to assume she’s not happy.
Nooooooo! It's Indigenous Peoples Day!!! pic.twitter.com/j1s5wN4kdv

LOL. The fact that the left decided to cancel one of the West’s greatest explorers shows a level of jealousy only possible for the most radical leftists. Why exactly are they celebrating these so-called Indigenous people?
Happy Indigenous Peoples day ❤️Appreciate this local business showing their support 🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/0EoRkYpA7N

It’s still unclear what accomplishments these people are so impressed by, but that is neither here nor there. The point remains: Monday is officially Columbus Day, and the sooner the left acknowledges that, the less foolish they will look.
