Watch: Namesake of “Tiara’s Law” Hosts All Ages Drag Event Featuring 14-Year-Old Dancing with Sex Doll For Cash Tips
Mug Club Undercover has obtained disturbing footage regarding Tiara's law and the people pushing it.
A Colorado state bill would make it easier for felons who want to receive gender-affirming care to legally change their names. Currently, felons must show good cause to be able to change to a name different from the name the person was convicted under. This is because it makes it harder to find out information about someone once they change their name.
If the law passes, “good cause” would include changing one’s name to align with one's “gender identity”
Last week there was a committee hearing on the bill. A resident named Christina Goeke was removed by security after opposing the bill.
“It was obvious from the start that they did not want me to speak. There were so many of them and so few of us yet they were TERRIFIED for me to speak. They tried to have me kicked out over an Instagram comment before we even got to the Bill! They also did not respect my time and were hemming & hawing while I spoke. This was an attack on my #FirstAmendment rights!” Goeke wrote on X.
The bill is named after Tiara Latrice, a drag queen and convicted felon. He is also known by the name Duane Antonio Kelley.
"So in Florida, when you have three of a similar charge, whether they’re misdemeanors, and they’re three of a similar charge, they become a felony charge, so that’s where my felony came from, was from being a sex worker and having three different charges for that," Kelley said.
However, Tiara was convicted on more than just “three” charges. Charges include the following: exposure of sexual organs (twice), prostitution or lewdness (thrice), battery, forgery, trespassing, possession of cocaine, and much more. He has a total of 38 of 24 convictions, according to The Publica.
"Every single time, and it's horrible. I hate it. I hate it," he said. "I don’t recognize that person. I don’t recognize that name, and there’s something that happens within my gut when I hear that name. It’s almost like a punch in the face."
On Jan. 21, Kelley co-hosted a drag show in Colorado Springs. Goeke reported that three minors were seen performing at the show with a drag queen who goes by the name Connie Lingus.
Footage obtained by Mug Club Undercover also shows an “all-ages” drag show that occurred last June where minors performed for adults with a sex doll. Kelley was also present at this event.
"[At] the hearing, [backers of the bill] got offended when Goeke swore. That was the offensive part of this. Not that somebody named Tiara is there pushing it [and is] lying about his rap sheet,” Gerald A said.
Kelley is also the former head of the “trans-ANTIFA”.
"This is a law named after a transgender s*x offender - a felon," Crowder said.
