D-list celebs think The Rock is a coward for keeping his political opinions to himself, and journalismers are ON IT!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is being slammed -- SLAMMED -- for being a coward because he isn't whining about Donald Trump like other celebrities. At least, that's what the rage-bait that journalismers have created out of thin air would have you believe. I know it's the summertime, people are bored, and clicks don't bait themselves. But that doesn't mean the left and the media (but I repeat myself) have to be THIS lazy.
It starts with Rock "The Dwayne" Johnson, giving an interview to Esquire, where he said he's choosing to stay out of politics and focus on entertaining and bringing people together. A blog you never heard of compiled a bunch of idiots from Reddit who were upset by it.
Somehow, George Takai stumbled upon the blog. He complained about it. Will Wheaton (best known for playing "Will Wheaton" on Big Bang Theory) chirped. And Variety, which was a major trade magazine but has turned into little more than a bitchy Park Slope tabloid, is ALL OVER IT.
Dwayne Johnson Slammed as a 'Coward' for Staying Quiet on Politics; 'Star Trek' Icon George Takei Fires Back: 'Silence Is Complicity' https://t.co/EHi0ivppMJ

Dwayne Johnson is catching flak on social media after he told Esquire magazine earlier this month that he will no longer speak publicly on politics. “Star Trek” icon George Takei is one of the Hollywood voices criticizing Johnson’s stance, writing on Threads: “Silence is complicity.”
“So disappointing to find out he is such a coward,” replied “Stand by Me” actor Wil Wheaton.

Other journalisming outlets picked up on Variety picking up on George Takai picking up on a random blog picking up on Reddit retards picking up on an Esquire video. Now, Will Wheaton is trending for calling the 6'5", 260-pound Rock "The Dwayne" Johnson a coward for not repeating Wheaton's political opinion back to him.
Because, let's face it. If The Dwayne spoke out in a way Will didn't like, he'd be attacked for that.
I love how he’s a “coward” but could quite literally tear Wil’s throat out through his asshole 😂 this internet comment world is so bold https://t.co/J541yxElUt

Case in point, it was stunning and brave when The Dwayne endorsed Biden/Harris in 2020. Then he learned from his mistakes and didn't endorse in 2024. Now, while journalismers are demanding all celebrities speak out against Trump all the time, The Rock is following the Sydney Sweeney school of media training and not taking the bait.
So petty journalismers are stuck creating content about him not taking the bait. This is entertainment journalimsing in 2026.
