The Left believes they have a monopoly on empathy.

Main character syndrome. Theatre kids. Narcissism. Do you think people get a septum ring and dye their hair green to blend in with the crowd?

This is not compassion. It’s not empathy. It’s a performance. We see the same thing with ICE protests. Here’s a notable video that drew a fair amount of criticism from right of center X users.

It is always members of the elite Marxist class pushing the narrative of Leftist empathy. They need the troops on the ground to have some kind of reward to keep them fighting for socialism and that reward is the feeling of moral superiority. And that sense of moral superiority costs nothing.

But in reality, the Leftist leaders could not care less if you died for the movement.

The Left acts as though they have a monopoly on empathy when in fact it is the exact opposite. Empathy does not exist in Leftism. The Left exists in a state of antipathy. Anything that is conservative, anything that is Christian, anything that is capitalistic is to be abhorred and marched against.

Zohran Mamdani is responsible for the death of 18 homeless people. There’s a growing death toll in New York City as the temperatures stay cold. So far, 18 homeless people have died this winter as a direct result of Zohran Mamdani’s Leftist policies. Mamdani promised that he was going to stop the sweeping of homeless encampments, so he left them outside to die.

The Left’s concept of freedom is to be a slave to your most debased desires, to live a life on the street and die in the cold.

Take a look at their heroes.

Karl Marx refused to work to support his family. He cheated on his wife and was a freeloader living off of his friends. He was lazy. Abandoning your wife and living off the skill and labor of others is not empathetic. It’s exploitative. It matters because the entire Marxist system is based on exploiting the worker because Marx himself was exploitative.

Che Guevara “directly participated in, oversaw, or supported numerous extrajudicial killings and executions.” HIs ideology was “fundamentally authoritarian and anti-democratic.” Guevara hated gays and referred to them as sexual perverts. Very empathetic.

Margaret Sanger, one of the founders of Planned Parenthood, was a racist and supporter of eugenics. People pushing eugenics wanted to remove the “feeble-minded” from the population. Feeble-minded was a pretty broad category that was ill-defined. Or, more likely, the definition was changed to justify whatever action progressive Leftists wanted to take at the time. People were even sterilized for being classified as feeble-minded. Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendall Holmes stated in the opinion of the court in Buck v. Bell “Three generations of imbeciles are enough.”

Lenin and Trotsky led the Bolshevik Revolution, but turned on each other. Trotsky was driven out of the country in fear of his life.

Josef Stalin, Fidel Castro, and Ho Chi Minh. Do I need to list their death tolls?

The “empathetic” Left cries Nazi and Hitler at the drop of a hat, but their heroes are mass murderers, racists, homophobes, bigots and leeches. This is not empathy.

As you grow out of childhood into adulthood, you are meant to realize that there is no freedom without self-restraint. If we learned anything from Rabelais, “do what thou wilt” is not the cry of a free society, but one of degenerate decay. It might as well be the motto of the Marquis de Sade.

Empathy is not shrugging your shoulders and saying that people have the freedom to freeze to death if they want. Empathy is saying “we do not want you to freeze to death.” And, if that means we have to force you off the street to do it, then so be it. Enacting empathy requires the valuing of human life. The Left does not value human life. You can see that in every policy that they back.

Assisted suicide. Abortion. Legalizing narcotics. Releasing violent criminals on a non-violent populace. Standing in the way of law enforcement actions to remove violent citizens. Allowing the homeless to freeze to death in the cold.

Marxism, socialism, communism…in all of these economic systems, human life only has value if it is considered productive by the elites. If you are not contributing to the system, if you are a drain on the system, your life has no value. You need an expensive surgery? Kill yourself. We need illegal aliens to provide cheap labor. Die for them. We don’t want to spend the resources to get homeless into the shelters. Let them freeze to death in the cold.

This is not empathy.

It is antipathy.

But clouding their intentions in a fog of false empathy and moral superiority sends the lambs to slaughter and entrenches the elites. EVERY Communist regime ends with a massive body count because your life doesn’t matter. No life matters. All that matters is the consolidation of power into a small group of elites who would gladly walk over your corpse if it means they can keep their favored status.

Do not be fooled. Leftists are not heroes. They are not saviors. They are quietly being stripped of their humanity, and the people leading them will watch them starve, freeze and die with a smile on their faces.
