Yes, we realize Susan Sarandon is slightly to the left of Joseph Stalin. Okay? Okay. But when she echos the same criticisms about Hillary Clinton as we do, albeit from the USSR, it’s worth a blog post.
Mrs. Clinton went on to be secretary of state, “but what has she done that we’re bragging about? How has she led?” Ms. Sarandon asked.
When asked why she is not supporting fellow “feminist icon” Hillary Clinton, Sarandon cited Clinton’s vote for the Iraq War and added that it’s “patronizing to women to think that we all follow our genitalia to pick candidates.”
Whoa, a liberal socialist actually said it’s patronizing to women to think we all follow our genitalia to pick candidates… ?
Can’t believe I’m going to write this next thing, but I’m going to write it: Susan Sarandon is right. Lucky for you our website is time-stamped, saving you from having to mark your calendar for this rare, momentous occasion. That’s first class consideration right there. Feel special?

“Gender is not what’s important,” she said. “Issues are what’s important. I want a candidate who has the courage to stand to do the right thing when it is not popular.”
“It is one thing to be for gay rights and gay marriage once everybody else is for it,” she continued, taking another subtle jab at his primary opponent Hillary Clinton. Sarandon again referred to Clinton – without naming her – when she blasted another candidate’s unwillingness to take on the fight for a $15 minimum wage, as Sanders has.
Right, so Hillary’s position on gay marriage changed when it was politically expedient. True. Hillary is also playing the gender card. Despite Hillary being an avowed leftist, Sarandon cares more about substance than vaginas. So good for her for caring about issues. She’s completely wrong to pick socialist issues, but I have more respect for someone who votes based on ideas (even if they’re horribly wrong) than by voting on sexist lines.
