Watch: Jon Stewart knows his audience is stupid and treats them that way
Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
Jon Stewart believes his audience is dumb and has decided his audience's IQ is logically equivalent to that of children. Today’s show breaks this down.
Trump does what he does best, which is troll the left into oblivion. This is not hard to do. Stewart thought criticizing him would be good comedy for the audience because he treats them like idiots.
Over the weekend, Trump announced he was the “acting president of Venezuela." This is funny, but Stewart didn't think so. Nonetheless, his first claim was against the oil industry.
American private energy companies will be responsible for fixing Venezuelan energy infrastructure. Those companies went to the White House to discuss this matter. Ironically, many of these oil companies were awarded billions of dollars in national court after the government nationalized the oil industry.
“The oil industry is different from a lot of industries,” Crowder said.
For example, the banks and the auto industry always seem to get a bailout. However, these oil companies often go into foreign nations and may do everything correctly, but their business could be destroyed because of another government's incompetence.
“That’s why they would be sitting there negotiating with this administration wanting some form of guarantees because they lost billions of dollars,” Crowder added.
Stewart also criticized that Trump may be keeping Exxon out, especially because these resources are in another country.
“Stewart knows what satire is. He knows what trolling is,” Crowder said. “He knows that this is called negotiating.”
Crowder added that you can't advocate lower inflation and energy costs, but then also claimed oil companies should not be able to extract resources.
He also tried to paint Trump as inconsistent based on his stance on Iran and the ICE shooting last week.
“He understands the difference between protesting and a revolution. He also understands the difference between an ICE officer and doing their job, shooting a lunatic who had been committing felonies throughout the day and threatened to run him over. He understands the difference between that and the Islamic Republic, which has killed anywhere from 1,000 to 16,000 people. I think Jon Stewart knows the difference,” Crowder said. “It’s a revolution. That is a big difference.”
