Shocking poll shows which party Americans trust more on important issues, and it's NOT the party crying over Jimmy Kimmel

While Democrats have the best plan to protect and defend Jimmy Kimmel's career, Republicans have the best plan to help the American people on the issues that matter most to them. But don't take my word for it. Listen to the people polled by Reuters and Ipsos, who asked adults which party they felt had the better plan on a wide range of issues. If the midterms come down to the environment, Republicans are in trouble. If it comes down to any other issue, we should be a'ight.
Keep in mind, this poll took place between September 19th and 21st, when the left and the media (but I repeat myself) thought the most pressing issue facing the American people was a multi-millionaire political activist being taken off the air for a few days. His crocodile-tearful return is being reported by CNN as a historic moment not only for this country, but for HISTORY!

You used the phrase “MAGA gang” & then lied about what happened. You definitely intended to make light of it and mislead the American people. Pathetic. https://t.co/lxVbyCNVUp

While the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) are focused on that, Americans are focused on their neighborhoods and providing for their families. When asked who has the better plan, Republicans have a double-digit advantage when it comes to crime, immigration, foreign conflicts, and the economy. In other words, the four most important issues facing our country.
They also have an advantage when it comes to handling gun control (lol) and "political extremism." I'm guessing that stems from watching someone who agreed with Democrats like Jimmy Kimmel on everything, using a gun to assassinate someone for having an opposing viewpoint. Seeing their democrat friends and family members celebrating on Facebook I doubt helped matters.

To be clear, it isn't all roses for the right. The same poll shows Trump's approval down to 41% and Americans worried about the economy. As with any poll, you have to remember that they are a snapshot in time. This doesn't mean people are going to feel the same way next month, let alone when they vote in November 2026. You look at the data. You reflect on your policies and your messaging and what's being presented to the American people. You adjust accordingly.
This poll shows that Americans don't appear happy with anyone. Fine. But when presented with a binary choice between R or D, they still "trust the plan," if you will. If I'm advising the Rs, I'm thrilled for a day and focusing on improving what needs to be improved.
It's American politics. Sometimes the most you can hope is voters hating the other side much more.
