Yet again, below is a perfect example of what should happen in America. If I'm being obnoxious about it, it should've happened 16 days into 15 days to flatten the curve. Ah hell. It should've happened on day one. Oh well, here we are, and Americans are finally speaking out. I guess I underestimated the patience of the American people having their rights, income, and lives completely upended by their government. In the video below, a fed up restaurant owner blocked the car of a health department minion and explained to the several officers who responded to him why he had to do what he did.

If you own a restaurant, consider this man's take. What else is he supposed to do? Seriously. Not a single cop there could answer him as they are all being PAID to do THEIR jobs.

If you're afraid of the coronavirus, that's your problem. Sorry not sorry. You should stay in your house and leave the rest of us alone to live our lives. We can't cater to the lowest common weenie. COVID-19 isn't ebola. A thin piece of face fabric isn't some magical talisman which will protect you from contracting a cough. And yet we've destroyed lives over this cough. Yes, WE. Not the Chinese, by the way. China didn't shut down our way of life, we did. Our government told us to shutter our doors and we complied. Many of us still are.

So if you're out there wondering "but what can I do" do what this guy did and fight back. Record it, make a stink, publish the content. Inspire others to do the same. We're in the "spreading awareness" stage of this campaign. I understand it's hard to be the leader in these scenarios, and there is power in numbers. Fine. Let's amass. If you don't own a business pushing back, support ones that do.

Push back. Fight back. Get uncomfortable. If life is worth fighting for, then what are you waiting for?
