Rep. Henry Cuellar Says We Should Take Border Patrol's Advice. Unless They Want a Wall.
On Sunday, Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said the best way to solve the crisis at the border would be listening to border patrol chiefs, heeding their advice for border protection, and to execute. Hey, listening to the experts is a great idea, we couldn't agree more (see Border Patrol Agent has Harsh Truth About Border: “Worst I’ve Seen in 30 Years” [VIDEO] and Border Patrol Chief Exposes what REALLY HAPPENED with Migrant Caravan). FINALLY! Some bipartisan cooperation on the wall. Except Cuellar has some caveats. He's a Democrat so that'll be your only hint.
Hey, at least he's honest. Either that, or he thought he was on CNN and wasn't expecting a follow-up question. Being called out on your crap isn't usually a thing Democrats have to experience. Heck, some Democrats can get away with blackface moonwalking as Michael Jackson. D privilege is a thing.
Saying we should listen to border control chiefs, but then ignoring what the border control chiefs say, completely defeats the purpose of listening to the border patrol chiefs.
So in the mental space of Henry Cuellar, border patrol chiefs should only be listened to if those border patrol chiefs parrot Democrat talking points. Specifically, if those border patrol chiefs think the best way to protect the border is with a border which merely identifies as a wall.
