Several “Raging Grannies” have decided to break out in song to prove to the Trump Administration that enforcing federal immigration laws is immoral.

Per their Facebook page:

Raging Grannies of Rhode Island is a chapter of Raging Grannies International, a group peacefully raising their voices in song as part of the resistance to social and political injustices.

At the Immigrant Coalition of Rhode Island press conference, the grannies thought the way to make an impact for these leftist causes was to sing. It’s unclear who they thought would be convinced by this, but we can be certain that close to zero people switched over to the other side.

The song, titled “Stop the Raid,” claims that ICE is breaking into homes and deporting people, while also spouting the leftist lie that children are being separated from their families. What is mad, however, is that none of this is true. ICE does not break into random homes, and these are almost exclusively targeted deportations. They are not wasting time on random hospitality workers who have not committed crimes post facto. Rather, they are going after rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and other scum who make this country worse off.

They also realize that children can be deported with their families, right? Why they think criminals deserve a right to be here solely because they have kids is beyond reason. That is not how these things work. Similarly, when someone gets arrested for DUI while a child is in the vehicle, they too will be "separated" from their parents. This is not complicated, but for the left, there is no greater sin.

It’s also comical how much they defend these people they have never met, when had the tables been turned, these illegal aliens would never lose sleep over them. So, while they think they are making the world a better place by breaking out in “raging song,” they really are just wasting their time.

Some humans are illegal, and some illegal humans have also committed terrible crimes. Maybe one day these raging grannies will understand that, but until then, this is the fight they will continue to fight. It’s comical and naive, at best.
