Woke professor invades students' first Turning Point USA meeting just to call them a bunch of fascist racists

WATCH: A professor at Purdue University Northwest interrupted the @tpusastudents chapter’s first meeting of the year by walking to the front of the room and lecturing the students about fascism and racism.
She then called both @TPUSA and the chapter racists.

When did college professors start to be like this?
I say this as someone who has been out of school for going on thirty years. And it's not like I ever assumed my professors and I ever voted for the same people. But outside of an English professor making us read Al Gore's global warming book and a Literature of Africa professor telling me my views on female circumcision (I'm against it) were culturally biased, it was never this political. I'd let it go in one ear and out the other, then go get high in the parking lot and kick around a hacky sack.
But at what point did we go from professors being stereotypical elitist pricks to being so fueled by hatred of opposing viewpoints that they'd show up to verbally attack students as racist fascists? Or was it fascist racists?
I'd even understand it if they advertised a controversial topic being debated, like "DEI is Gay and Retarded." But it was the first meeting. It's organizational. You go around the room introducing yourself. You check in on each other to see how everyone is doing after Charlie Kirk's assassination. Then you say "meeting adjourned" and go grab a slice of pizza.
And an alleged adult, upon hearing a group of students who she disagrees with politically, would all be in the same room on campus, decided to invade their space to attack them. A professor attacking tuition-paying students. Over thoughts.
Is she the only professor who does this? I doubt she's the only one who did it this week. It's still gross and sad.
