Ponder this: at the top of your head, can you name the 20 safest cities in America? Did Chicago make the list? Didn’t think so. That’s because when you think of safety, a million other places probably come to mind, not a city that consistently ranks at the top of the nation's homicide list.
Sure, if you look at the numbers per capita, you might try to make claims that Chicago is “relatively” safe—but do the math, and the story is clear. If the shoe fits, it fits. And sorry, JB Pritzker, but you’re definitely not Cinderella in this scenario.
I don’t have to tell you that Chicago is unsafe—it goes without saying. Does he really think anyone is naive enough to believe such a claim? I’m not even convinced he believes it himself, but I digress.
It’s also quite coincidental that the Democrats have run the city for over 100 years, and yet it seems to get more dangerous by the second.
Can anyone even name one thing the Democrats have done to make Chicago “safer”? No? Didn’t think so. That’s what makes it so pathetic—and disingenuous—that he’s trying to convince you otherwise.
All you have to do is Google “which city has the most murders per year?” and Chicago leads the nation nearly every time. So again—who does he think he’s fooling with those kinds of lies?
And when it comes to Illinois, under his leadership, the state has decided that cash bail is “racist.” So again, when it comes to leading the nation in safety, we all know exactly where places like Chicago rank—and let’s just say it’s not anywhere near the top.

Didn’t think so. It’s unclear how they can just deny that crime exists, but I don’t believe for a second that they actually buy their own nonsense. I don’t know who they think they can fool, but pointing fingers to deflect blame does no one any favors—especially not crime victims.
They can play pretend all they want in a pathetic attempt to save their political careers, but it only contributes to a culture of lawlessness. We know exactly who’s to blame—and it certainly isn’t Trump or the people trying to clean up their mess.
