According to Governor JB Pritzker, once the left is back in the White House, the State of Illinois plans to sue ICE agents and federal law enforcement officers who enforce immigration laws. It’s unclear how you can prosecute law enforcers for doing their jobs — especially when state officials themselves routinely refuse to uphold the law like their lives depended on it. Do the math. All I know is that Pritzker continues to prove just how much he despises you and this country.

According to Fox 32:

"The tables will turn one day," Prtizker said. "These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out.."

Is this opposite day or something? Prosecuted for what, exactly? That remains unclear. Last time I checked, you’re not supposed to assign guilt before a suspected crime has even been committed — you know, the whole “innocent until proven guilty” thing. But I digress.

"We’re talking to the state's attorneys and Attorney General to see how they can go at this because what we want to make sure is that they follow the law," he said.

Okay. And who’s going to make the governor follow the law? Every single day, this man goes on TV promising to shield criminal aliens from prosecution and/or deportation, and now it’s comical that he’s suddenly pretending to be all about enforcing the law. How much lack of self-awareness can one person have?

"So this is a dangerous time," Pritzker said. "The President of the United States is causing mayhem in the grounds of our state. He is going after his political opponents. I don’t know why anybody would look at the situation and not recognize he’s moving toward an authoritarian regime in his own image."

Firstly, I don’t recall him having a problem when the Biden administration went after Trump, who also happened to be the leading opposing candidate at the time. Secondly, the only one making the state dangerous is him, as he proves time and again that he has no interest in upholding the law. Thirdly, if you have to keep announcing and gaslighting people that we are living under an authoritarian regime, chances are you aren’t actually living under one.

Don’t you wish this man were more focused on upholding the law and keeping streets safe for law-abiding Americans, the way he is for foreign nationals? In the political pursuit of whatever this is, he has made the state more dangerous for everyone — except those who break the law.

For the millionth time, the left has proven over and over who they intend to fight for — and it certainly isn’t you. And if I didn’t know any better, I might just say it’s Pritzker who should be held accountable… but I do know better, so I won’t be saying that.
