A pregnant woman -- who is due in two weeks -- saved the day when she shot a thug who had just pistol-whipped her husband. The incident took place outside of a Houston gas station late last month.

Security footage of the incident has gone viral. On one account, it has racked up close to 300,000 views in twelve hours.

The woman, who asked not to be identified out of fear of retaliation, told ABC-13 that thank God she and her husband had their guns. She's never been happier to be a gun carrier.

"No, they were not taking out my baby daddy before July 11."

"I got out of my car, and immediately, the guy in the passenger seat of the silver car got out with an AR and told me that I startled him. You know, he said it in a more vocal way."

The woman was in the car while her husband was outside. She called out to her husband, who was told by the assailant identified by police as Mario Duque, "Do you want to die tonight?"

We see in the video Duque pistol-whipping the husband. The woman was able to pull her gun out of her purse and shoot Duque. The husband also shot him. They held Duque until police arrives.

As Duque lay waiting for cops and questioning his life choices, a bystander is said to have told him, "Hey man, if you think you're dying, you might as well pray to God for forgiveness."

Duque is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and unlawful carrying of a weapon. Turns out he's also a convicted felon and is unable to legally obtain a firearm. Something to think about as Biden Democrats keep pushing policies that would make it more difficult for the couple WHO IS ALIVE NOW to legally obtain guns.

The couple is due on July 11th. Unclear is if they plan on naming their child "Smith Wesson" or "Walther." The kid's still going to grow up with one hell of a story to tell his friends.
