Woke Microsoft employees stage a "Worker Intifada" against you know who, as silly as you think it sounds... it's sillier

🚨 BREAKING: Microsoft employees and "community members" calling themselves the "Worker Intifada" have established a "liberated zone," also known as an encampment, on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington. pic.twitter.com/X4hHO2DroA

Ya know, there was a time in America where you could lose your job for staging an occupation in the middle of the workday. There are parts of America, we'll call it the real America, where you still can. Then there are places like Washington State and companies like Microsoft where you can accuse your employer of genocide and not get fired as long as you don't use the wrong pronoun.
The "Join The Worker Intifada – No Labor for Genocide" extended lunch break was organized, demanding that Microsoft "cut all ties with the entire economy of genocide." AKA the Joos. Specifically Israel, but let's be honest, I know that you know that I know that you know we've seen enough of this cosplaying since 10/7/23.

The protest was organized by a former employee who managed to get himself fired for past silliness. When Microsoft failed to provide a satisfactory response to demands they divest from Israel, he and employees who had yet to be fired believed it necessary to escalate the situation. That meant setting up tents in the courtyard once their keffiyehs were delivered from Amazon.
A plainclothes Microsoft security guard literally hauling away the protesters’ trash. Give this man a bonus for putting up with this nonsense. pic.twitter.com/O7Yw12mUrE

Close your eyes and picture how a conversation between an organizer and a normal person would go. Ok, now watch this video.
At the Microsoft encampment, the Redmond police officer looks like a unit. The protester looks like a teenager caught sneaking out.
“Hey, are you the organizer?…”
*long pause as chants fill the silence*
Finally: “I’m not here to talk to cops.”
The police officer replies… pic.twitter.com/akVKmQGVP0

The funny thing is that, for all this concern about "genocide" and the starving Gazans, I had yet to see a video from the extended lunch break addressing Hamas (the cause of the starvation), or demanding they release the hostages. The key component in Israel's common-sense never again reforms has been that Hamas has been holding hostages since 2023, and those reforms will continue until those hostages are returned.
If I were prone to virtue signalling, I'd consider signalling my virtue over that.
