You can be arrested for praying outside of an abortion factory in the UK. You can be arrested for SILENTLY praying outside of an abortion factory. It shouldn't be surprising to see a dudebro arrested for yelling "We Love Bacon" outside of a mosque. Yet it happened, it's ridiculous to watch, and it stands as a constant reminder of why we broke up with England and are never, ever, ever getting back together.
Worst of all? This patriot, or whatever passes for being a patriot in Europe, got arrested on National Bacon Lovers Day. This is a real thing today. I saw it on the Google and everything.
π₯ ITβS NATIONAL BACON LOVERS DAY, YβALL! π₯ August 20, 2025, the day the world unites to worship the sizzlinβ king of meats! π
Today, we celebrate the crispy, smoky, life-changing magic of baconβbecause letβs be real, itβs the glue holding this chaotic universe together. pic.twitter.com/i2RmgZWvW0

It was a protest outside the South Lakes Islamic Centre in Dalton, which I suppose is a UK city. I'm mostly surprised they allowed the protest. As we've been seeing in the UK for the past decade, culturally enriching refugees can have their run of the city, up to and including forming grooming and rape gangs. People born in the UK, on the other hand, can get arrested for posting anything on social media about it. Also, for catcalling.
The protest was allowed. Professing your love for bacon was not. Our meat-loving friend was the only arrest that day.
The spokesperson added: βTo prevent crime and disorder, a proactive dispersal order was in place to enable officers to disperse individuals they suspected may commit crime or disorder.
Yelling "We Love Bacon" led the police to believe this man was about to commit a crime or a disorder. Maybe they were afraid he was going to eat bacon in front of the mosque. Enjoying delicious bacon is frowned upon in the Islamic world, so there is a good chance it's now illegal for anyone to eat it within the confines of a public space protection order.
βWhilst the majority of people who took part in protest activity acted in a safe manner, police made one arrest.β
The gentleman was released on bail and no doubt went to the nearest pub for a pint and a big plate of bacon. Being locked up in the slammer can change a person. Though this guy may have just been hungry.
