You have to question how overboard cancel culture has gone now that Barack Obama is dunking on you for it. Maybe it's not all that surprising, come to think of it. This is the same president who gets attacked more at Democrat debates then President Trump. The left has gone completely batsh!t crazy (see ‘Secret Life of Pets 2’ Attacked by Leftists for not Being Woke Enough and Food Critic Uses Social Justice to Rate Restaurants’ Wokeness). There is no longer room for moderate voices like Barack Obama. Granted we're liberally defining the word "moderate" here. Just roll with it.

Because if you think Obama's detention and health care policies weren't progressive enough, you're going to hate him after this.

This idea of purity and you're never compromised and you're politically woke, and all that stuff — you should get over that quickly. The world is messy. There are ambiguities. People who do really good stuff have flaws. People who you are fighting may love their kids, and you know, share certain things with you.

One danger I see among young people particularly on college campuses. I do get a sense sometimes now among certain young people, and this is accelerated by social media, there is this sense sometimes the way of me making change is to be as judgmental as possible about other people and that's enough.

Young people are watching this and yelling "Shut the f*ck up, Boomer!"

Those young people on college campuses were raised to think anyone who disagreed with Obama or any other Democrat was a racist, sexist, bigoted homophobe. Who literally wanted to kill you with climate change, tax cuts, and net neutrality. So my man isn't innocent here. One could argue maybe he got the first pot properly stirred, then welcomed the insane into his kitchen to stir the rest.

But he's not wrong. It's kind of a Frankenstein's monster thing. His creation is terrorizing the villagers. He needs to make amends. The first step is spanking all the mindless children he helped to create. Which is basically what he did here.
