A fan commented on Singer Zara Larsson’s social media post of her singing, claiming, “I didn't know I was pregnant here, but at least my baby got to hear 'Midnight Sun' before I aborted it.”
You don’t have to be pro-life to realize this is not funny. Larsson, however, decided to continue with the “joke,” which again was the antithesis of comedy.
According to TMZ:
The Swedish singer-songwriter fired back with a cheeky reply ... “I killed the performance and then you killed it after the performance purrrrrr” and reposted the video onto her TikTok account.
The exchange quickly started making the rounds online, with some fans praising Zara’s dark humor and quick wit ... while others questioned whether joking about abortion in this way crosses a line.
Many women regret their abortions and suffer psychological trauma after making that “choice.” Other women, like this fan, feel no remorse. In fact, she decided her child was not worthy of life and deserved to be mocked for the short existence they had. The fact that the left calls this compassion is deeply deranged.
Whatever happened to "safe, legal, and rare"? It would appear the left has gone down the slippery slope and is living their “abortion on demand” fantasy. They have gotten so deranged that many now classify this as “healthcare.” However, last time I checked, healthcare does not end with the intentional killing of another person.
While Free Speech is, in fact, free, this joke was still reprehensible. Abortion is not birth control.
Even if abortion were morally justified, which it is not, you don't condone it by equating it to something as simple as a song at a concert. Maybe one day she will realize what she did. Maybe she will regret it. Maybe she won't. Nonetheless, an evil act was committed, whether she knows it or not, and no joke will make light of the situation. That child deserved to live, and it is sad to see how evil society's reasoning has become.
