As it turns out, when Alex Pretti was not anointing the sick and being the perfect man you'd want your daughter to marry, he was an unhinged leftist manipulated by the Democrat Party's anti-ICE propaganda. Here he is attacking (what the media calls "protesting") ICE and/or border patrol and/or someone he presumed was enforcing immigration law, and therefore a faaaaaacist.

This is where we're at. The left crying "faaaaaaacist" is the new left crying "raaaaaaaacist."

The footage was first uncovered by the BBC. Yes, not even an American outlet.

Bystander video from January 13 shows a man identified as Pretti approaching Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who were blocking a street. In the footage, he is seen shouting at agents and kicking their vehicle. ... The footage also shows Pretti getting free from the initial hold. At that point, a firearm is visible in his waistband.

And I know what you're thinking, "So you're saying he deserved to be unalived in the street?"

No, because I'm not an asshole. I still think it was a "bad shoot," and the messaging out of Kristi Noem's DHS made matters worse. Also, "bad shoot" DOES NOT MEAN murder or assassination.

However, if Pretti was already known to authorities as unhinged (I doubt these two videos were the only incidents), you can understand how, when an LEO has only a split second to make a life-or-death decision, they made the decision they did.

We've been saying, this doesn't happen in a vacuum. A lot of gasoline has been poured by Mogadishu Mayor Frey and Tampon Tim Walz. As the National Police Association points out, Frey and Tampon's lack of leadership has left Border Patrol with a lot to handle as they try to decide their next action in that split second.

What remains undefeated is how, when the left and the media (but I repeat myself) attempt to martyrize someone on the left into sainthood, the narrative and propaganda get destroyed as facts and evidence are uncovered. This video leads to a broader conversation that if the media didn't suck so hard, people other than Scott Jennings would be asking the same questions.

I care about where did Alex Pretti come from, what part of what group was he in? Was he part of any kind of a training organization? I mean, I think what's going on in Minneapolis is more than just random people showing up to protest, I believe, and there's lots of evidence about this, that there are well organized, well trained and well-funded agitators who are showing up with the purpose of provoking these kinds of incidents so that they can then create the narrative that somehow ICE is out of control."

All of this makes for a very interesting press conference for Tom Homan, which starts in about 45 minutes after I publish this. Just enough time to make some popcorn. I may even Irish up my coffee.
